Writing musician bandflourish macros are a snap. The flourishs are all the same length so /pause timing is no problem. But DANCE flourishs...(looks at his bald spots from pulling his hair out in frustration)...some one give me a clue here please.
Is every flourish in every dance a different length? Has anyone made some kind of list of these timings?

I don't know if there is some kind of list anywhere, but I know that I've personally paid attention to approximately how long it takes to perform a particular flourish if I like it. I then make sure to add the appropriate pause so that the animation carries as far as I want it before hitting the next flourish or changing the dance style.
However, that is purely for aesthetics. If you're looking for timing for flourishes to get the best xp, I always found about 9 seconds between flourishes to be a good way to capitalize on the XP.

Pretty muchand Yes.
Look for a recent post by Goldy. She put her dance note cards on the forums for our viewing pleasure
If you're attempting to /bandflo a dance that needs to have almost zero time between each flourish for it to look good (e.g. Lyrical, Formal, and Theatrical), good luck! There can bea good .8 second variance between each flourish instance, depending on your connection speed. One day it may take 12.6 seconds to complete Flourish 7, and the next it may take 13.3 for the flourish to complete itself after it's called. *shrug* I wish you the best of luck

Thanks for tip about Goldy...
And YES, was looking for timing for using bandflo's. Nothing worse than a performance where all the dancers start off well but end up looking like the Three Stooges after a few flos.
Thanks again for your help you two

I have a very simplistic bandflo macro (we don't need to go into how macro challenged I am . . . lol) that I set up for use on the Cantina Crawls. All I do is change the pause between flos if necessary. The only dancer who ever gets out of step ends up being me since I'm the one initiating the bandflo. One suggestion to keep things in step is tohave someone off to the side kicking the individual bandflos or macro so that the audience won't be distracted by one out of sync dancer.
