Hello fellow dancers, I have a question that I could not find in the FAQ and I was hoping someone could help me out.
Is at master dancer when buffing do I have to do my best dance to buff the fastest and most efficiently ?

I dont have an answer for you, but from what I've heard and read on the fan sites it does decrease the time needed for a buff.
P.S. You reallyshould be cafeful when asking questions in here, I've seen "a few Q's" threads get torn to shreds, esspecially containing buffs enquires. It has something to do with their own self image of being buff-bots and good for nothing one click macros, which is complete non-sense and should be giving themselfs a little more credit.

The dance has virtually no effect. Tiaga tested this out and documented the hard facts in this post (which is linked from the stickied October 21 FAQ btw).
Oh, and we really try to only tear Q threads apart that have buffbot or afk-"play" written all over them...

Thanks for the quick responses! To be honest I started out thinking I was just going to make a "AFK buff bot" but quickly I realized that it was actually really fun dancing, in fact I have not done anything other than dance for the past week, haha.

It is A LOT of fun (trust me..I wouldn't still be doing it if I wasn't having fun & I'm not the chatty type). And there is enough room for personal creativity to it to fulfill a lot of "hobby" type wishes that I don't get from the more static activities in games. All crafters make pretty much the same stuff, combat is pretty much the same throughout but entertainers..well any of us who put a little effort into it can easily come up with our own style of doing things. Not to mention that we have some hellu great parties! Check out the videos if you need something to feed your mind.
And no..which dance you do matters so little as to be insignificant..but it seems that half the time when I buff using a dance other than Exotic 4, I get told that I'm "not doing it right". I get that a lot when I buff using /setperform instead of grouping too. The bots have a lot of players trained to be good little puppets.
