Thread: Why oh why... new flourishes and variety...

You know, maybe I am the first person to think of this... which would be a darned shame, but why oh why couldn't we have the new flourishes AND the old ones too? I mean... let's look at what changed:
Basic - new flourish 8. Primo! well done! no more duplicate of 7! NEW CONTENT!
Rhythmic - changed flourish 6-8
Rhythmic2 - changed flourish 6-8
Footloose - Changed all flourishes
Footloose2 - Changed all flourishes
Poplock - Changed flourish 5-8
Poplock2 - Changed flourish 5-8
Lyrical - Changed flourish 5-8
OK... now... why couldn't they have LEFT the old rhythmic 5-8 and put the new flourishes on rhythmic2? Same for Footloose and Footloose2(OMG areason to get Master Entertainer for Dancers? Surely not!?), Poplock and Poplock2 and Lyrical and Lyrical2. This would have greatly expanded the total number of flourishes we have, rather than simply changing out some for others (with debateable results in terms of good looks.)
Could we maybe get this done? Please? I mean, all the code is there, all the art is there, it's just pointing to the proper animation files. Right? Why oh why wasn't it done this way to begin with?

What i don't get is that rythmic and footloose had a comlete flourish set already. Why not add the miisng exotic 4-8 fourishes that are all currently the jiggly?

Well, I count the new Lyrical flourishes as new content. The old Lyrical 5-8 were just flourishes from Basic right? Or was it Rhythmic? I dunno cause once I saw they were the wrong ones I never used them.

I think it's a great idea...and I posted it in the feedback thread on the in live forum. Make sure you voice your opinion there too since this forum doesn't get much attention from the devs.

The old lyrical flourishes are still there.. They were duplicates of popular flourishes.

Was also hoping for new exotic flos but alas there still the same few, getting master isn't very satisfying.
The new ones are pretty nice but footloose flo 5 /cringe. I hope this is just a great start and we do get more exotics.

Yeah that was the first thing I thought when I saw that they changed some fo the ones that really weren't broken.
But then I realized I don't have the skill points for master ent but I still wanted the new footloose /flos

I'm willing to be that there are more Master Musicians capable of Footloose 2 than Master Dancers capable of Footloose 2.
Oh, and as another option...why not the missing flo's to the Exoitics instead of completely changing out the footloose flo's?

I kinda view a lot of the flourishes as somewhat drug inspired. Some of the flo's are very wild and very long. I'm afraid my dancer will pulla muscle.
