Thread: I have honestly tired of the new Dancer Auditions which have pissed me off completly

This has to be the worst designed quest I have ever seen. I have now failed 3 times on the first audition and I am tired of doing it. The long wait to do it again, the time constraints on this, everything about these missions are BAD BAD BAD!
Can someone tell me why they dont wait forever or at least a few mins until I start dancing??? The short amount of time they give you is pathetic. To make matters worse when you /changedance why cant the dances be in order? Why do they have to be all over the place which in this cases makes it hard to know where they are. A-Z would make life a lot easier guys. I just cant say how upset I am with these missions, Poorly crafted and poor executed!

It really isn’t so bad.
Just open your /startdance window the moment you get on stage and move it to the side of you screen while you wait for the instructions.
Also the dances are in order. They are in order in which you have learned them.
So, if they ask for a newbie dance you know you have to scroll up, if they request higher dance you scroll down. Another good idea is not to wait to type /changedance till they ask you to change dance but type it right after you start dancing so this way you will have the window already opened and ready.

I share your frustration. I gotan audience that refused to tell me what dance to do - only what flourish - and who did not like any of the 5 dances I did try before the timer ran out. When I went back the next day the Theater Manager would only tell me to come back in 24 hours. I tried begging, I tried showing her a clock, I even threatened her with a T-21 but she would not budge from her belief that my time had not elapsed. I filed a ticket but had not heard back by the time I simply gave up and went to kill things.
I did add a few hot keys in hopes it would help me move faster. I added a /conv macro hot key, a /changedance macro hot key, and perhaps one or two more that I can't remember at the moment. When I first went on stage I started dancing instantly and used the /conv command from there. You might try that as well. Fortunately I tend to change dances quite often when I do entertain in the cantinas so I'm very familiar with the list of dances and can find themfairly quickly now. If your not or you feel too rushed during the audition you can also add the different dances to a hot key macro and just line them up on your toolbar in an order that makes more sense to you.
