Thread: Battle system idea for dancing.

I got this idea from watching south park the other day where they had to battle the other kids in a dance off. lol
I think it'd be cool if you could battle other dancers in the group by performing or calibrating*flourishs of some sort and the winner would get some sort of animation (like the holoemotes)and xp bonus for a few mins.
Claibrating like the ones you needed to do in the village quest. The Phase 1 quest. It would make dancing more interactive and dynamic.
just my 2 cent's worth since i find dancing abit boring when there's no one to talk to.

i like this idea. the only bad thing would be if this turned out too competitive, but with such a good entertainer community i don't see a problem. Gives me a good idea though. i could host a dance contest. Get a list of Judges and everyone works on a routine and a fiting outfit and have something special for the winners. As long as everyone has fun we all win. When you are starved of content sometimes you have to make your own.

I think this would be fun. It probably makes more sense for us to get items or cash prizes though since our bonuses aren't for personal use.

I was thinking about it some more and how the "battle system" would work. This would use the current flourish and dances we now have in the game.
So it would start by you challenging some one in the group. If they accept, a random time would be displayed for how long the battle will last. Anywhere from lets say 45-100sec is good for now. Then a timer will start where both dancer would auto dance. Now they have thattime to come up with flourishs and dances to span the battle time. The winner would be the closestto finish their flourish at the time given. Would have to end with a flourish and not with aand not wih the normal dance. Mean while everyone in the group get XP bonus and the winner would get an animation or money or something. Maybe a temp action buff?
