It is perfectly possible to do a full buff in 2 minutes (plus whatever time it takes to get everyone watching you). I have tested this several times today. To write a macro for it, do 2 flourishes at once followed by a 2 second pause and loop it, then run it for 2 minutes (your mileage may vary).

You know, I'm usually really timid about correcting people and I'm always willing to believe that there is something that I don't know. So I apologize in advanceif this is one of those cases.

... but, this is not my experience. This method and any variation on it should get you full duration in about 3 min 12 sec ... there is another "method" that Ravenmist hinted at that actually takes less than 2 mins, so now it takes the 2 minute minimum.

I think it is not intended, so I'm not repeating it yet. If I can get permission to post it, I will. If it is not intended, it needs to be fixed. It has the same physical characteristics as the 30 sec exploit, but there is no stopping or spam. If the Devs know about it and think it's fine as Raven seemed to be hinting at, I'll post the sucker in a guide.

No, you're right, my math was bad. Hey, if I were good at math, I'd own the deluxe edition, lol.

Phew I just picked up dancer and already worried about those 2 minutes extra. If you can still do a buff under 5 minutes I think it's ok, 3 minutes sounds great.

I just can say as a customer I really liked the 30 second buffs and that under almost no cicrumstances I would wait a total of 20 minutes to get buffed. I think almost everyone gets buffs so they can go out and fight something and when I decided to do that and already got my doc buffsI don't want to be forced to spend 20 minutes in a cantina.

I really don't get the argument a good entertainer makes the 10 minutes look like 2 or that it helps RP or socializing in any way. Since when does it help to force things on people. If I want to watch or listen a dancer/musician for more than 30 seconds or he/she is really entertaining then I will stay longer, no matter how long a buff takes. The problem is when I want a relaxing time and socialize in a cantina I usually don't look for a buff, I look for a buff when I want to go out hunting things.

Off topic but still similar are the spacport waiting times. I don't understand the people that argued to let them at 10 minutes for immersion. In both cases, dancer/musician buffs and waiting at starports. If you want to watch/listen 20 minutes or stand around at a starport for 10 minutes just do it, nothing will prevent you from doing so, even when a buff only takes one minute or a shuttle takes off every minute.

I think it's more satisfying that people socialize/RP/talk to you because they enjoy it than just because they are forced to stay around you for 10 minutes.
