Approximate date that you began dancing Theatrical: I did the quests about a week after they came out, got Western first since I'm a full entertainer (ID/Ent/Dancer/Musician). Then I did my theatrical quest. I stopped playing on Andres' for quite some time and picked up dancing Theatrical around July. I've since capped my dancing xp now in September, no results at all.

*puts on noob outfit and starts dancing rhythmic2 for the heck of it*

I have worked up quad master ents on secondary accounts on seven of my eight servers so far (as support toons).

Dignan Trq was thefirst i tried to get Theatrical2 with. even with some 500k, I have been unable.

I tried with one other since then and met similar apathy from choreographer npc.

Like many others, i haven't the heart to continue trying for Theatrical2 until this is fixed.

Personally, I hate the Theatrical1 dance, I do it because I am obsessive-compulsive (lol sort of j/k) and don't feel like a complete ent until i have it and, presumably sometime in the future, Theatrical2; i do find the "Western" song well worth the effort, however.

ESHARRA, I realize that you are the ent correspondent and not a direct rep for the devs or SOE, and that they have more pressing ingame problems to attend to (as you mentioned earlier).

However, this quest appears to have been broken for several months at this point and I think I speak for all when I request you bend the ears of the devs and ask that they PLEASE post an official acknowledgement of this bug right here in this forum,and set a timeline for any expected action.

Even if they say they will not attend to it for one year at least we will know not to bother for one year.

An acknowledgement and projection of action is the least the devs/SOE could do for us having made such a bollocks of what little entertainer content there is.

Also, may I suggest that some method of checking on our accumulated Theatrical dance xp is in order- perhaps, gasp, a Theatrical xp counter in the skills page that is separate from the Dancing xp counter. such a tool would be invaluable.

p.s.

kind of off topic question (i will scan forums for this on its own in a sec): with latest patch we lost on screen xp notification... why? is there an option in Ctrl-O to get it back? are there plans to re-instate it? it is a HUGE inconvenience not having that notification. thanks all!

I was doing the who dance thing casually, but decided to see if I could get Theatrical 2 before the new enhancements went live on the 15th, just in case it was bugged after the enhancement. Imagine my surpirse to find it was bugged before the enhancement. LOL

Is there some sort of work around?, or do you have to go to a specific trainer?

There is no workaround I ever heard of. Other than to keep dancing it, and keep waiting for that mythical pop up box that says you have now qualified and can go get your scroll from that choreographer wench with the command string name next to the entertainer trainer in the theater who for now just keeps telling you ..."sorry, you must practice some more..." I hate her. I do.A lot.
