I'm not a dancer.
I enjoy watching dancers dance.
I give them money.
I think Entertainers need to be fixed.
I know TheSilly One is correct but she's funny and serious.
I'm not a dancer.

you know we have that to only it doesn't tell us and so we waste all the time we spent buffing...

What time is that? Regardless if your buffing or not you are still justdancing/playingthere talking to people. Your not doing anything special other than typing /setperform. And before I get flamed for that, neither are the Doctors that type /healenhance. I will be the first to say that the buffs for Entertainers and Doctors are all messed up....and if anything in this profession is broken it is that, and the lack of new and better flourishes. I personally would rather us an Entertainer for healing my wounds/BF, and I tip everytime someone answers me when I ask if anyone is not AFK. Mind buffs are great, especially for Docs and combat Classes, but I would much rather hang out with ent's just for a heal not a buff.

secondly were not saying were the ONLY ONE but this is the DANCER forum and its about DANCERS not docs not bh not comandos.bh's are not "broken" by the terms you'd like to put... they have end game content, can hold their own in PVP and pve.... same goes for comandos... and obviously those proffessions recive attention if you dont see that you must be blind.

Don't even start that **edit** about this is a dancers only forum....I am a dancer and have been for 3 months, so I have just as much right to post here as you do. I'm not talking about all the different broken professions, just giving examples. In this forum alone no one has posted any reason at all to start this Patition or than lack of communication. BTW my Alt toon is a BH and they are broken, so unless you've played it don't talk **edit** you don't know about. How would you like it if you just spent 2 hours tracking a bounty that only rewards 12k, finally finding him, and then finding out you can't even attack him. So now you just wasted a ton of tracking droids, travel ticket money, and 2 hours for a mission you can't complete. Yeah I think you would be pretty pissed off to. Don't care about the broken PVP stuff in any profession I'm talking about the PVE stuff that is required to lvl your toon...thats what really matters to me.

You said that a Red name has rarely posted in your forum... try musician.... a red name has NEVER posted there since launch... does that make you feel better? As for the in concept thread it is suposed to be TH's way to excuse the fact that they dont answer our top 5, request 10 questions from us and dont answer that, ect ect. If you'll notice, unlike most of those in concepts he's not posting in there...

The fact of him not post after is not the point. The point is that the Devs, NOT TH but the DEVS,have taken notice in the entertainers cry for a change. It doesn't MATTER if he isn't posting. The concept forum is designed for you guys and everyone else to give your ideas, feelings, and modivations to the said change. Use it to your advantage, don't just start spamming people because you can. That makes you no better then any of the morons on coronet.

Yes, but the question I have is WHY are you saying that?

Does the inadequacies of the Doctor proffession somehow lessen the inadequacies of the Dancer proffession? Is there some reason you feel weshould not be petitioning to have our class fixed or at least addressed? It would seem to me that you could empathize better with what we are talking about here as you have experienced it within your own class. Go ahead and get mad that doctors are being ignored. But don't get mad at Dancers. We have a right to have our own agenda and we have a right to ask for some kind of communication regarding our future in this game.

I am a dancer like I've sad 3 freakin times. And I haven't found anything that needs to be fixed, that makes the game unplayable...so please enlighten me. AFKers DO NOT COUNT. Name 1 thing that prevents you from leveling your toon. Name 1 thing other than rude people and AFKers that ruins your game. Honestly enlighten me, because for 3 months other than AFKers I haven't found 1 issue that is life or death to the profession of Entertainers.

Your right you do have the right to ask for help, but spamming TH and everyone else isn't the way to do it. And you know DAMN well I'm right. Use your Correspondent....use the concept forum....thats what they are there for....to get the views of EVERYONE to the devs.

javier i love your idea but did this some months ago and i got no response, im afraid your screaming into deaf ears. i quit this game recently and dont plan on coming back, I had hopes for my proffessions that could have been fixed. I was a master dancer, dropped due to afkers. I was a doctor, and a pikewoman, quit because they dont care about the support class, all they care about is making pvp as fair as possible. unless dancers start entering pvp for some weird reason we wont get heard. Pikemen are more rare then jedi now, and im afraid doctors are objectified as buff bots. Dancers are few and far between, all that is out there are holocron grinders.

As i leave i would just like to say good luck and i wish you the best of luck, but from experience as one of the first master dancers in this game, all i have to say is look beyond the horizon there may be an answer outside of this game.

Ok first of all yes, AFK'ers do indeed count. Look at the numerous posts claiming that we should lose our buffing skills and that it should be given to another proffession and thedownright abusive behavior the proffession is enduring from other players because of the image AFK'ers are perpetuating. Take some time and skim through these forums. There are at least 3 or 4 posts on the first couple of pages regarding the utter disrespect for this proffession due to the AFK situation.

The buffs are broken, apparently to include doctor's buffs. Being as this is our only marketable skill, I do think we have some justification for wanting it fixed. I don't want it fixed for me (as a dancer I'm sure you know that you can not buff yourself) I want it fixed for the combat and medical proffesions who benefit from it. I'm not going to list all the things broken about dancer, that would be trite. If you want to know whats broken do the research for yourself. Spend a little time looking through posts from mid September or so. It's all the same issues.

You say that spamming the powers that be is not the way to get thier attention. Ok offer up a solution. How do you propose we go about it then?We have tried every other concievable method. We have offered up our suggestions and comments to Ravenmistwhohas been fighting the good fight trying to get us some answers. We have postedin our respective server forums. We have posted in the in concept forums. We have tried to educate other classes as to the benefits a dancer fix would have for them and enlist thier help. We have done everything else we could think of.

Combat classes get attention because they are constantly and unrelentingly bitching about what is wrong. I think it's high time the support classes do the same. Let the developers know that we are paying customers who deserve to be acknowledged.

Wehave exercised ourright to speak and now we are raising our voices to be heard.

You're so WRONG.When I am buffing someone I have to give my attention to them for 8 minutes. I can't stop to train another person who needs it, I can't stop to trade with someone. I have to focus on the person I'm buffing, and forme that usually includes conversing with and entertaining them. Kind of hard to do if I'm in the middle of tell hell or a busy guild chat or whatnot. In addition, I burn a lot more action on a buff than if I'm just dancing around for fun. So I not only type "/setperform," I change to my buffing dance and use my buffing macro and sometimes even put on a special item of clothing.

Don't even start that **edit** about this is a dancers only forum....I am a dancer and have been for 3 months, so I have just as much right to post here as you do.

For someone who claims to have "been a dancer for three months," you don't seem to have much appreciation for the issues and concerns that dancers deal with regularly. If you want to complain about the BH profession, go to the BH forum. If you don't want us to PM devs or TH about our issues...tough. There's nothing you can do about it, and putting people down in this forum is only making us angrier and more committed to raising our voices in protest.

The fact of him not post after is not the point. The point is that the Devs, NOT TH but the DEVS,have taken notice in the entertainers cry for a change.

What proof do you have of that? Because TH (not a dev, TH) started an "in-concept" thread for entertainers? And since then responded to it, what...once? How about the fact that our original top 5 issues have not been addressed, apart from two vague semi-answers, WEEKS after all the other professions had their top5 answered? Or the fact that they asked us for 10 more questions, which we submitted, and to date though the other "high priority" lists got answered, we still have NO answers to those questions either?

I understand you think you havea point to make, but you're coming off like a troll at this point.

Okay, to all of those that are coming from other boards potty mouthing us, I hope you realize what we are trying to get fixed:

1) Our Formal and Lyrical dances are bugged. Yes, it looks all fine and dandy when WE look at it, but when you look at, it looks like we have stopped our service,or ignored you, or are not putting 100% effort into getting your BF tended to. So what we are trying to do is help YOU ALL by getting our dances fixed and pleasing, so at least when you go to the cantinas, you don't have to look at shoddy dancing all day. Jeebus knows you get enough of that with the hologrinders.

2) Registration is bugged. It shows that service is available when there is nobody there, and it shows that service is not available when in fact qualified people are at the cantinas. Places like Yavin IV, Dathomir, and Endor HAVE NO REGISTRATION SYSTEM. And that hurts YOU OTHER CLASSES MORE THAN US. Because I cannot tell you how many times people spent 2000 credits and ten minutes to go to Coronet from Dathomir just to get their BF healed, when I was dancing in the cantina right next to the darn shuttleport! Wouldn't it be good for you to be able to check your world map to save you the shuttle costs and extra time to watch shoddy AFKers at the grind capitals when you can watch really good live people at the place you were at? THINK OF THE MONEY AND TIME YOU'LL SAVE!

And yet, all I hear from you dolts who come on the boards is that we aren't doing enough for you, but I've got news for you, if our changes go through it will benefit YOU GUYS MORE THAN US! So don't give me this stuff about our profession working fine. It will work a whole lot better for you bounty hunters, carbineers, pikemen, and EVERY class we service if our changes get some attention.
