Can I just say I am so IMPRESSED!! That has to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Watching it... I was like "I either want to be friends with this person or come to his server and stalk him" lol -Two thumbs WAY up! I loved the sequence when it was the blue male twilek (I'm assuming you?) same dance different locations behind. And the small details like different dancers in the same outfit and same position. /cheer!!!
On a side note - in a /bandflo attempt at dancing - I cannot figure out how to change dances and get everyone else to as well...is this possible?
Yeah YOU!

Here's the command to get everyone to change with you:
/g Get ready to switch to popular in a half minute
/pause 30
/g Switch to popular in 3
/pause 2
/g 2
/pause 2
/g 1
/pause 2
/g Switch to popular now!
/changedance popular
There isn't a group change dance, sadly.
And yes, the twi'lek that stands out is me. In all the solo routines, and the one in gold in all the rest. Forgot to mention I made all the clothes in the credits, though. First time I've done a factory run of regular clothes. I borrowed an armorsmith friend's fleet of factories for it. It was odd pulling a crate of shorts out from between a crate of energy layers and a crate of ubese segments.
I would have had this done much quicker, but one of the first things I had done was that sequence with the background changing behind me. I was so thrilled it worked so well that I watched it over and over and over and over and over. Set me back at least a week of just watching that one bit.
Some of the transitions are so good that when it disolves between them (It's a 2 frame disolve) my position matches up perfectly, and my clothes just fade from one thing to the next.

*laugh* I'm glad I had idle factories at just the right moment for your costumes.

I was working entirely in uncompressed video until the final movie was compressed for download. Hey, hard drive space is cheap, why not? That came to a little under a gig per minute of video.
Though, it did start to get tight when I had nearly 100 gigs of videos to edit. Most of that I didn't use. Only about 20 gigs of videos went into the editing process, and 3 came out. I still have those sitting around with the EDL file so I can re-render the video any time.
