Anyone have any tips on how to get through the last audition? Man, I failed it big time, and by the way I'm REALLY pissed that they have a 24 hour wait before you can try again... if we have to do that, why don't you have to wait to retake a mission from Jabba's, or the Imp theme park, or Nym's? Bastages.

Might want to check out a game called Wish. It has a bard class that according to the FAQ can play a variety of authentic medieval insturments. Suposedly a live content team to that goes around roleplaying with people. I signed up for the next beta stage which starts Dec 1. Two former members of ENT that i know who no longer play swg are signed up for the beta as well.

Failed it twice (last one) and got it at 3rd try...

What I suggest to do it:

If audience says "I want to see flo 5" (for example) it may be flo 5 at any random dance (they may mean flo 5 of lyrical but not telling it is lyrical to you) so what I did was doing flo 5 of all dances with /changedance and see it satisfaction rate goes up.

And do your performances in middle of stage.If you try to do lyrical or any other base dances, you get failure message (which I got at second try) of getting out of stage. But it was not me.. Dance pulled me there

Dance is broken, looking fun from my monitor but you need like a football stadium areato make 5 minutes performance, you instantly move to far away directions. Ofcourse others see you you are clapping your hands like birds swinging their wings and doing moonwalk

I'm reporting any names that breaks the Naming Policy, Roleplay seriousity and copyright laws, you can too...

Gee, I just converted allmy extradance exp into fs exp so that I could have the best possible wound healing. Guess I'll need to wait to get the broken dance. Does the new dance mindbuff better than exotic 4? Are there rewards leading to the new dance?

How difficult is it to find players to watch you dance? Can they watch you anywhere and at anytime? I'mnot veryconcerned about entertainers spamming for attention. I think it's more likely that entertainers might be expected to pay to be watched.

Okay so we get a broken dance at a cost of 400k exp points.

They still haven't dealt with buff bots.

The Hutt Casino was promised and postponed for months.

Our mission terminalrewards arestill max out at around199 credits.

It's all very disappointing, but our choice isto either give up and let the bots takeover or keep on dancing and make our own fun. I'll take a deep breath, take a step back, then come back dancing my heart out! And I'll definitely try the manager's missions, because it's something new to do.

It was mentioned earlier in this thread that you could maybe put together flourishes for the new dance to at least make it look somewhat presentable like we do with lyrical and formal. I don't think even that is possible. The dance looks great from my monitor....but from another's monitor watching, even some of the flourishes do not work. I love the dance, its just too bad others can't enjoy it too.

Watched Tiaga doing the new dance last night. Other than a few brief moments when it didn't look too bad looked even worse then lyrical or formal, looked like he was having some kind of a fit.

I give up, not even going to try this quest anymore. Broken and flawed quest for a broken and flawed dance. Typical SOE.

To answer your questions.... No dance buffs better than any other dance really. They are all pretty much identical. The key is flourishes. There are a few small cash rewards (a huge 2K one!) I didn't find it too difficult, but then I did it on a high-player server (Intrepid) and danced at the ticket droid in Coronet Starport. I didn't have to pay anyone, and I didn't spam at all. I simply chatted up the crowd waiting for the shuttle, at least 2 or 3 per wait would watch me, which meant it only took about 2 hours total time to do the quest for all the promotion sets combined. If you tried to do it in a crowded cantina, well, good luck on that unless you are buffing groups or something
