Thread: what kind of new dance do you want to see?

Shall we just say that "jazz1" is not the most masculane of dances. The term 'mincing' springs to mind for several of the flourishes. But on the plus side, it does appear to be motion captured. I have a videothat shows the base dance and flos 1-8 (but not the fall over/mistake animation) but I have nowhere to put it (it's 15Mb). I might try to make a smaller one and then I'll try to stick it somewhere.
"Jazz1" refers to the name of the dance in the data files. This probably isn't what the dance will really be called. Basic2 is called "goofy" in the data files!
I have mixed views on the new dance. I guess it could be good to use when it comes out. But it's a very 'wide' dance like lyrical so it limits where is can be used.

Just pointing that out again. The lyrical style of dance is, to my understanding, a form of jazz dance. Of course I know very little about dances, mainly what I've read on web pages, so take that as you will.

That lyrical/formal problem isonly in the base dance though so it can be avoided, but trust me...you do not want to see either base dance for the new "Jazz1" dances

. Certainly not the first one. Think sort of like holding a handbag in front of you in both hands, and skipping backwards 
I'm a male dancer, trust me, it looks bad. Although Ican't confirm what a viewer 'sees' when one is dancing either style of "Jazz1". Sowwy. Hopefully I will post some videos of the dance somewherewhen I find hosting space, if anyone is interested to see it.
