I was hard on you at times, I know. But I'm glad you put as much effort as you did into the concerns of this profession.

Its worth fighting for, but its not worth fighting against oneself. In this profession especially with all its attendant (or unattendant) problems, it must take its toll that much more. You have nothing to be ashamed of, dear. I know you gave it your very best, and we are all very grateful for what you have done and will continue to do.

As an aside, am I the only one here who's wondering if SOE will even bother to look for a new Correspondent at all? Sorry, I know that doesn't belong here, it's just a thought that struck me.
