Hi there!
I'm a 20 year old female from England and I've been playing SWG since beta.
My main character is a fighter... Master Brawler, Teras Kasi Master, Master Swordsman, and some Force Sensitive melee skills. I also have a master entertainer/musician/dancer, a master doctor/tailor, and I'm currently working up a master smuggler/pistoleer.
In real life, I study imaginative writing at university in Liverpool. I've always been a huge fan of Star Wars, and I really couldn't not play the game. I started off roleplaying in a Jedi group in IRC, chat room role playing on AOL and playing games like Jedi Knight. My father was in the first beta, and he gave me his key to get into SWG. From then I was hooked and I've played since, starting off with one account and gradually getting to where I am now.
I find that the roleplay I get in SWG helps me in writing stories and poems. I've submitted work that I've done based on my SWG character to university as an assessment piece, and got a good grade on it. It included pictures from the game as well as fictional stories I wrote based on experiances.
My favourite past time other than roleplaying is probably hunting. I just like hitting big things with a power hammer. It's a lot of fun to get together a bunch of friends and head out and talk while we hunt. I have JtL and I've worked up an Imperial and freelance pilot, but I prefer the non-twitchy style of the ground game.
I've started testing the CU, and like what I see so far. I'm hoping that the entertainer classes receive that much attention, for although there have been some good additions recently, they still need a lot of attention. I enjoy playing my entertainer character, and it is an awesome alternative to the hack and slash mentality that is the only thing in so many games.
