People outside the group can't tell who the group leader is, so they can't even target that player and do a command to split the tips without asking for the leader's name (and many tippers prefer to be as annonymous as possible). This can become more confusing if the patron wants to tip people in multiple groups (again because of the smaller group size).
Anyone have some ideas how to make this work in a way that the devs would be willing to extend some extra coding time to?
I too would prefer to have to manually split the credits. There are times when someone might request a specific person in the group play a particular song or they might specifically ask for the inspiration buff. In that instance I wouldn't expect the performer to split the tip and I'd just be spending my time tipping it back. I always forget there's an actual command for it so I just manually tip each person. I used to do it all in one lump sum but occassionally someone would go LD or something unexpected would happen and I'd forget at the end of the group session. So now I just split the tip as it comes.
But I have more luxury to do this because entertaining is not my major source of income. If I were Master Dancer with Master Musician I don't know if I could realistically afford to split my tips with the rest of the group and so although splitting the tips is a standard for me I don't expect it from everyone in the group.

I'm not talking about forcing an entertainer to share her tips. That's garbage. But if a player comes in, and wants to tip the ENTIRE group some money, just for being there, playing, dancing, chatting, and generally entertaining him, he has to do it one at a time and that's a pain. There really should be a command that allows a PATRON to split the money amongst the entertainers equally.
