Ensure the props are always going to remain behind you even while you're moving them. Then, pick your dance moves carefully to face the front as much as possible (your head will snap around to look behind you at the props when you turn to the sides).
Other than this, you could also create a /target self macro that would keep yourself targetted ("you cannot manipulate that") and just run that while you're executing a turn, then go back to your prop macros. Even simpler than that, just /dump your macros when you do a turn where your head will snap around, & then restart them when you've finished.
