if it has been done before then it means there are indeed people who want to see it.
If at first you don't succeed, reload

I've started one on Kettemoor, too. They say it's been done before... but it's never been done by me.Which means it'll either be a colossal failure, or it'll take off better than I expect.

Don't worry hun, there can be no harm in posting something that is a positive and beneficial cause for everyone **hugs**
A wise lady told me recently, that she will never give up trying to share the delight or the amount of fun it is to be an entertainer - but will keep on poking and prodding and plugging away.
Whether you succeed or fail - I think the important thing is you stood up for what you beleive in and tried to make a difference, and that is the part that matters **winks**

The purple jewelry is done, some is on the bazaar, and some is in my hands being passed out to live ents as I come across them!
And Ani even came along and gave my thread a /bump!
It's going good so far!

and any other thread I can catch for this too,
It isn't just for our server it's for our game.
Please let me know of any other people starting threads or ingame actions so I may support them as well.
Here with bumps, there with cross server toons, everywhere with encouragement.

Woohoo!!
It took nearly two whole days before my thread on Kettemoor deteriorated into a flame-war... and funnily enough, it was all because I refused to add a known bot to the list.
To her credit, she IS atk a good portion of the time. The reason she's "bot-like" is allegedly because in a large city her lag is bad, plus she dual-logs. While I don't consider that ATK, it's not precisely AFK either. However, the post was very specific in it's request.
So because Kettemoor's favourite bot isn't on the list, my requests to flame me elsewhere have been denied. Fun, no?
At least the thread stays at the top of the list and gets attention that way...

I am extremely disappointed that a thread to raise awareness about and support ATK entertainers, an extremely positive idea, has turned into arguments, some of which are off-topic for the original topic of this thread, others that are more appropriate for the all-purpose pro/anti buff-bot thread, and even others which are personal attacks which are inappropriate in any thread.
Ani'cul, I salute what you are trying to accomplish and hope that the derailing of this thread has not discouraged your efforts in rallying players, entertainers and non-entertainers alike, to raise awareness about and support ATK entertainers.

The best way to make a sig I've found is by using the following steps:

1.) Start a new thread on the forum. DO NOT put in a subject line, that way you cannot accidently post it, since it won't let you submit without a subject line.
2.) At the bottom right of the text window click on "Graphical Editor." Note: some browsers, like FireFox, do not have this ability. I use IE when I want to use the graphical editor.
3.) Design your sig using the colors, fonts, available. To get the ribbon, type a - and highlight it and select webdings as your font. This will form the ribbon.
4.) At the bottom right of the text window click on "Edit as HTML."
5.) Copy the HTML that appears and click on "My Profile" at the top of the screen.
6.) Paste the HTML into the Signature text window.
7.) Click on "save changes."
Now you have a sig! Anothereasy way to get the ribbon is to reply to the original post in thsi thread, go into the graphical editor and change the size, color, font, until it appears how you want it to show in your sig. Then copy/paste the HTML into the sig box in your profile.
