I think I must clear a toobar just for dnce macros.
Is there somewhere the macros are posted? I would love to have a bit more variety in my dancing, but I am hopeless at writing them.

Yup..a macro can't compenate for lag or other variables (such as a change in conversation, atmosphere or music) so I don't use them. My one exception is the little macro I use combining /eject with /smokebomb to disappear in a puff of smoke from player owned buildings.

I thought they removed /eject?? I remember some time ago I tried to use the "disappear in a puff of pinkish smoke" and I stayed right there
I tend to use macros because of a severe hand/wrist injury I suffered in RL some time ago - makes for some slow typing - but I do a lot of "change ups" during the macro rather than just try to rely on the macro. I just wish I had a bigger toolbar so that I could hot key more things. Maybe if I were better at writing macros that would help... but I'm not so I just try to tough it out. It's great when the changes work smoothly and not so greatwhen they don't... it's all part of the learning experience. I've often wished that there were a better timer mechanism, like having your dance instructor counting in the background when you are learning a new routine. It would help me a lot to know how long all the base dances are as well as the flourishes. Yes those timings are going to be estimates because of variations in server lag and computer lag but it's easier for meto start with an estimate and work from there. I have found that on some dances I can take an educated guess on timing length, probably because I have been counting all this stuff for so long, and get very close.
Andif I could have the ability to push some of those tables in the cantina out of my way that would really rock

OMG I love that! I always used smokebomb and somebomb2 for changing the exotics or for costume changes, but for a quick getaway............

Silly tried to get people to post their's but it seems a lot of dancers don't use them. I had created some under my first char, but noticed they didn't work as well for my second and this one is no where using any of them. Besides mine are just a string of floes with pauses and some effects thrown in. I am horrible at choreography. I just use it to be able to chat. I have to fix my copy paste so I can post mine.

It has been a couple of weeks since I've used it (been that long since I've really been able to dance on either of my masters as it is) but it still works. It only works in player owned buildings now though. Back at launch (& until sometime after) it could be used in NPC buildings too.

Especially if you call it by /changed exotic4 in the middle of the turn at the end of Exotic 3 flo 3.
I have to admit I have a hard time making that transition look good. In part because I like to be facing about 40 degrees to the right of the object of the flourish so that when I'm leaning back on my knees durring the fourish I'm looking right in their eyes (if they're sitting) and they get a good look at me. *grin*. Also as I stand to finish that fourish, I zoom in so I'm still facing them at the end.
