. . . that does remind me of a recent horror story. A large group of us were at the Theed theater for the first Entertainer Awareness Day event. One of the dancers (who licked and kissed both males and females as they came up on stage) hand wrote an extremely offensive "command" regarding me. Why I was targeted, I don't know. Several of us admonished "her". I still think "she" should have been tossed from the group . . . . This dancer never appologized anddidn't evenacknowledged the our protests . . .

I remember this. I was completely taken aback when I walked on stage andwas greeted by "kisses you gently on the lips". .. err excuse me , but do I know you? It is bad enough when "patrons" do this, but when its one of your own . . . it is very sad.

Unfortunatly there are a lot of lil' boys using mom's credit card out there... Once as a Musician in a Group, I witnessed a Master Dancer being harrassed by a Wookie... She let us in the Group know throughout the conversation what was going on, as she had found out from another dancer that this "man" was really only a 14 year old kid with overactive hormones. She /addignored him, and he got incredibly Irate and vulgar. In a few seconds the ENTIRE Cantina shut him down AND a fewminutes later,, A CSR appeared and bumped him.

My Composite Helmet is off to ALL dancers for their talents in the game. You help us live the fantasy world of SWG, and we just have to remember that there are human beings inside those beautiful, sexy, lucious flesh-wrapped.... uhhhh.. gotta take a shower.

The biggest harssments I ever got was in the moneia canatina, a few imperials would come through killing anyone flaged or overt then expect us to heal them. Finallya group of us rebel dancers denyserviced them, they got really upset real fast about that. Kept challenging us to duels, calling us sluts and what not. We ignored them and they were soon driven out of the place by the recloned rebels they'd killed.

I'm all for a little bit of roleplay now and then while I dance... but as soon as it turns vulgar I make it VERY clear through tells that I will not put up with that sort of abuse, else they will be reported pronto.

This is not a game that little kids should play. Sadly they make up a reasonable chunk of our player base, particularly on weekends when I can spend the most time dancing.

Another thing that *really* annoys me is when I get constant tell spams asking for a mind buff. If you ask me once I will reply as fast as possible... but when I get repeat tells every 0.3 seconds... is it any wonder why I have just put you on ignore?

I'm a male dancer... so there's nothing that happens to me nearly as bad as that... but every so often, I'm mistaken for a woman (37 times, to be exact), and it's usually still a /lick or a /kiss. I've even been proposed to, imagine his shock.

I feel sorry for the female dancers... I mean, it seems like you guys get better tips, but I've seen what you put up with. If it ever helps, though, ask a male friend to pretend to be your husband in these situations. I used to do this for a friend of mine. Or better yet, convince him he'd look sooo sexy if he was max weight... then have an ID friend change him, and refuse to turn him back.

I guess I just don't get it.. sure they're sexy, but they're still only polygons...

The worst thing that happened to me was as a noob I was running around Mos Espa (sp) and this guy comes up to me and demands I do a certain act ot him. I say no, tell him to leave me alone, and walk away. He chases me screaming at me, calling me vulgar names and demanding that I do this act. Being a noob I had no idea how to find the ignor button, nor even a basic idea on how to report this thug. I did the only thing I could do and that was to log, which didn't go fast enough for me, so I paniced and shut the computer off at the power strip. Not fun, not why I pay money to play the game and not going to happen again without them getting Logged, a CSR notified and my follow-up to get him thrown out of the game.

Wow I've never seen anything terrible like the above stories on Sunrunner. A couple of weeks ago, a noob wookiee came in the cantina looking for a wife. I think I was his first victim, because he had to ask me how to marry someone first.Since Aylla isalready married, I politely denied his request. He told me everyone is married in the gameand he must have a wife! lol He then proceeded to ask every other dancer in the cantina. Iheard over and over,"Why did you give me this ring? Ewww no!" Eventually persuaded him to go after my male friend's alt female dancer that Isaid was "desperate for a man." I really knew hewas afk andjust using to herget healing xp for his main in the cantina. Because he was afk, the wookiee got so sick of trying to kiss her and saying, "why won't you trade?",thathe finally logged out.

early on, in the days before holocrons, i headed up the entertainer tree.. i was in coronet usually dancing and chatting with people mostly, and i didn't wear anything all that revealing, just a female zabrak in shorts and a tshirt basically (not even hotpants lol). But the endless requests for lapdances, the tells that were just too weird to even respond to, and just the constant /licking and /kissing got to be too much for me to deal with from bunches of strangers and i quit dancing.

but the entertainer stuff is fun and a useful addition to the guild so my alt is a dancer..and a male, and hardly ever gets hit on lol. Sad that i have to gender switch myself just to enjoy a profession.

The proposals I don't mind . . . its the "propositions" that bother me. (Especially considering that most of them probably come from kids who in RLare not that much older than my own daughter! THAT'S scary!)
