No point in flaming Fade guys. She's one of the best things to happen to the dance proffession as well as the Starsider server and arguably this game. Yeah, you guessed it. She's also a good friend of mine.
If you're happy where you are stay where you are. Too easy.
If you are not happy where you are and would like to be proactive about it then why don't you chip in with some constructive ideas on how to get entertainers in this game back to enjoying thier proffesion. I'm talking about proactive ideas. Things we can do right now with the tools that are available to us right now.
I highly doubt fade has any self interest here as she is already a part of one of the finest and longest running entertainer guilds available to anyone anywhere (you guessed wrong, i'm not a member). Slave has great community support in the lively player city of Sandstorm. If you want to enjoy dancing, if you want to be tipped for your services, if you do not want to compete with buff bots, if you want to make an awsome performance and be recognised and appreciated for it, if youwant to be in a cantina filled with nothing but live at the keysentertainers who enjoy each other's company, if you are not doing these things already, you would be well advised to check it out.
It is my belief that Fade enjoys her proffession and would like to offer other dancers the opportunity to enjoy the same kind of game experience.

Back to the topic of Lei's post, I am one of those disheartened dancers from another galaxy. In the span of a month, my guild went from 3 dancers to 1 (me), and then they approved the use of a buffbot. I was devastated! I seriously didn't know if I should fight it, let it lie, leave the guild, or leave the game!
Then on a whim I went to CC6, and it totally revitalized me! Omg, live dancers and musicians DO exist! And they like to have fun! This is something that I was so happy to see.
Will I totally turn my back on my home server? I don't know yet. These are still things I'm sorting through. But at least I know there's a place I can go to relearn why I started dancing in the first place.
