Thread: I guess buffbots aren't going away after all.

There are tons of different ways they can go about fixing this with out touching the UI action stuff. I have no doubt they will stop unattended gameplay from their own macros. But what do they break doing it ? What bugs pop up ? And will they really police 3rd party macros ? All to still be seen.

That's clear. My point was that on its own such a solution would not work.

So now people are leaping to the assumption that keeping /ui action means recursive macros are staying. Both are coming from the assumption that everything works the way it does now, which is not required."


I agree. I've always felt that people generally made far too many assumptions based on a very few developer comments.

Since June 2004, running one of the game's first completely nonviolent characters. Testing the limits of non-combat MMORPG play and trying to have fun into the bargain (although the developers make it difficult).

Combat is no longer compulsory.
