ive been noticing this lag pretty much all of the time. its rather annoying, because random emotes and commands end up turning into stuff like s/alute or stopm/

It's not just with macros. I get it just sitting in my house talking in tells with friends. Happened a few times today. But is really bad in higher populated areas...starports, cantinas, etc.
Hope they fix it

I'mnoticing a lot ofchat lag..a lot.It isn't macroes,I don't recall the last time I used one and this is happening when I'm not skill animating too. And it sure is a bother when you're out with a nice guy and every word that comes out of your fingers looks like "hrso/weoi"!
I wouldn't mind, Esh. ![]()

This explains Javiers out of control spanking. Ow ow ow is propbably coming out as wow wow wow, encouraging him even more. As if he needed encouragement.
On a more serious note i had not noticed this till i tested it using a superflourish 3 minute macro and yakking at the same time. I have always noticed chat slow way down before in laggy areas, but i have never noticed it place letters all out of wack before like it is now.

yay! yay! yay!! it's a bug! I'm not going insane! I'm not slowly forgetting how to type. I've looked really freaken retarded the last few days with how some of the letters have jumbled themselves and I have to type so slowly that by the time I get a wisecrack out or something the joke has long since passed and I just seem lame. The lag has gotten SO much worse in the past month, I don't have the fastest computer anyways and I've been REALLY suffering. It doesn't make me want to leave the game but it does make me content to grouch.
*grouch grouch grouch*

I have to admit I was a bit scared that a late dyslexia had hit me for some time.

Phew.....
I’m glad it’s not just me, was begging to seriously worry if I was subconsciously working on PhD in Gibberish.
Also recently I have been noticing that when using /tt to send a tell to a targeted person the first word of my message gets randomly dropped. I’m trying to get in to the habit of starting my tells with a neutral word which doesn’t effect the tells meaning.
*cheers* It's not just me!! *dance*

Yeah, this issue has been biting me and several people I game with on Kauri over the past several days. What makes it unnerving is that not everyone seems to be having the problem. Macros. No macros. Space or in a cantina. Doesn't matter. I'm 95% certain it's tied to a slight hiccup caused by system messages. Ok, so that's what I think the problem is. Now what does one have to do to fix it? And for the record, this is not a "fix it or I quit" gripe. I already took an extended vacation from the game. I'm back and want to stay. Just like to be able to function without this ball and chain tied to my ankle. Or my typing fingers for that matter.
