That clothing change bug was live and as far as I know still is

It was annoying, I dont' normally run around in very revealing clothes but I was trying on various stuff lying around my house to see what I wanted to keep and what to give away, I had tried on a revealing bikini.. changed into a dress and left my house but people still saw me in the bikini and hawtpants. I wondered why they were all staring at me...

Along with the annoyances of the bug, it leads to some fun situations if you're quick on the draw.
The first time I encountered it, I appeared to be wearing my hawtpants and warm hat (which I'd left in the bank 2 planets behind) while I joined my in-game fiancee and her friends for a trip to the corvette. Had I not been clueless to the bug, I could've talked about how uber I was when I was asked "Um, you're going to wear that up there?" - instead, I kept insisting I was wearing my composite until we figured out it was a bug.
I have to get on her to send me those screenshots of me up there . Course, by now, I know how to handle myself up there much better and could set up screenshots where I'm *actually* wearing the hawtpants. *Shrug*

Just a public service announcment to any that may notice my newest outfit. No I have not gone ranger but yes I now own a pair of fun sucking cammo pants. Dancer kryptonite.

/gasp!

yes that's right... I said it. Cammo pants. Dirty dirty phrase - don't worry I already washed my mouth out with chocolate for saying it.

My guild has issued a PvP uniform and I'm to wear this hideous things when out healing them as a doctor. I bargained for a pair of +25 wound/injury hot pants but was shot down. Don't ask me to dance in them. I'm physically unable for some reason. Luckily I don't play doctor often.

This ends the public service announcement. We now return you to a bunny with a pancake on his head. Thank you.

No dancers were harmed in the wearing of cammo pants.

The clothing bug reminds me of a story. There's a chick that plays on my server... one that apparently used to play on Bria and got run off for impersonating another player. When I met her, she was talking about the new outfit she had gotten... the only problem was, what we saw her wearing didn't match up to what she saw. Rather than accepting our explanation that it was a bug, she accused us of lying to her to mess with her head. When we FINALLY got it through that it was a known bug, she would then ask us every thirtyseconds "okay now what am I wearing?" I wanted to punch her. Of course, the very first time I ever met her she /puked on one of my best friends because he was wearing hawtpants. Things just steadily went downhill from there. This girl is how I discovered that when you've /addignored someone, they can still spam you with banktips.

Back when Javy was AWOL I found a wonderful tailor vendor (which has since disappeared) where I got some lovely clothes and great outfits. However . . . . almost without fail, whenever I would leave her house after purchasing something and equip my swoop (it was a long walk back to Theed otherwise) one of two things would happen. Either the new item would disappear from my inventory (sometimes with me thinking I was wearing it) or the clothes I was wearing would switch to something I had on previously. It would often take a server reset to clear the bug. Although I have also been successful in correcting the problem by equiping the article of clothing that everyone else sees and then changing to something else. Roho and I have seen this happen a couple of times recently in the ID tent. Nothing like having some combat guy come in decked out in full comp armor wanting his hair changed and swearing he's wearing nothing but comfortable slacks and boots.

But like said above, camos can be nice. Before she quit a while back my ingame wife was a Tailor / Dancer, a purple twi'lek. She use to wear an outfit I absolutly loved and called it cotton candy . Some camo paints, Pink and light purple ( she was a dark purple so it worked well ) and err, i forget the name, but the tube top looking thing, the same color purple with pink in the frount center part.Usally wore that with some pink high heels, looked reallynice

unfortunately I don't get to pick the color. Guild leader wants us all to look the same. They're black and white. Cow cammos...

I am notorious for the "that's not what I am wearing" bug. I can assure you that if my guild had a "cow uniform" that bug would rear it's ugly head every time <evilgrin>.

I got hit by the disappearing thing once a long time ago.. I bought new pants and then put them on and left the shop... crossed a river (on foot, was before vehicles) and came out and my pants were GONE. It was traumatic. But not traumatic enough to keep me from running around Coronet with no pants for about an hour.

They reappeared when I shuttled.

The clothing bug caused all sorts of fun when we had it on TC. My now hubby's personal favorite was the time my TKM alt got stuck wearing hawtpants, a metal bikini, and fishing pole from a fishing trip we had the day before hand The thing was, I was supposed to be wearing full composite since the two of us were soloing the Geonosian Caves O.o He showed me some nice screenshots later of me tanking the Acklay in nothing but hawtpants

Eaca is right.

This is not just clothing as far as the bug goes, it is everything equipable... lost a full suit of ST armor (poplock2... *drool*) for almost three weeks, and then one day, poof! It's back!

Blah.

Anyways, If he makes you do black and white... wear black and white hawtpants. Don't take no for an answer... don't give in to the camo side!

And bludging the poor thing to death with a fishing pole no doubt! LOL!
