Um, was it the commandos that favored the diaper pants (aka desert crawlers)? Or was that some other combat faction?
Personally I think that all characters should start in hawtpants by default. Or possibly shorts.

His name is Snuggs, and he likes quiet evenings at home, and being wrapped up in a warm blanket on cold winter nights. He's also very fond of stealing all of the pillows.
