Yep, which is why it is so easy for people to make "buff bots". All they have to do is make sure their character has enough action to keep entertaining and that it is able to get into a group and wala.. Our most valuable (in the eyes of combatants) skill is given away to any member of that group. No interaction on your part aside from making sure people are in the group is needed.

Yes you only have to be in group.
Make sure they /stopwatch before disbanding the group though.

There are some bugs lately with groupbugs perhaps tehy are not all solved yet?

Try /setperfom on one of the groupmembers and have all other watch as well and see if it works. Don't stop dancing till they did /stopwatch.
