See, I've always enjoyed barfights in the cantina. Some people are totally against it, but I tend to agree more with Javier on this one. I think it adds to the immersion and the ability to RP, rather than take it away. And there's always something entertaining about watching people get busted. *Is a good Imperial citizen*

Dont like the sound of the initial idea to be honest, Im neutral so it wouldnt effect me either way,i just think it would be a waste of resources that they could put into just about any other dancer issue we have. Or many other area's of the game that need work.

However if this was re-posted after all our main issues have been fixed/added then i do think it would add some roleplay element (i could picture storm troopers passing through mos eisley cantina quite well)

You have only to look as far as the original basis for Galaxies to know whether or not cantinascan befair game for Imperial persecution - "A New Hope". While the cantina in Mos Eisley probably didn't see a lot of Imperial intrusion prior to that little scuffle Ben had with a couple grumpy aliens, it's obvious that those Stormtroopers didn't have a problem throwing their Imperial might around when the opportunity arose.

Do I think it will create emmersion? Yes. Do I think it risks running factioned entertainers out of the major NPC city cantinas? Yes. But then - I think the ability to "scan" an individual's personal alligence is absurd. It's not as if I got a chip implanted in my right temple when I joined the Alliance.

If it makes it live, I predict it will be a short lived experiment . . . . too many people will complain about being killed for doing nothing more than buying groceries or having a drink at the bar. Unless, say,you can gainfaction pointsforit -along the lines ofhazardous duty pay.

I'm an Imperial, and with the exception of my player city, Theed has pretty much always been my home base. I like the idea of having it more risky for Rebels to be in the city, including Rebel dancer. Why would a Rebel want to be healing Imperials anyway? I think it will give a great feeling to the game and also add a little excitement. I think it willalsowillspread players throughout cities.Ifanyone isreally worried about it, theycan go neutral.

Well I'm nuetral so GCW is meaningless. However I don't really care to have to deal with being scanned and found carrying pixie or accarragm with me

I'm hoping that accarragm isn't considered contraband. It's only Wookiee beer. Beer isn't illegal in SW... unless the Empire frowns upon it coming from Wookiees.

Do I really want to know what part of the Wookiee it comes from?

Penalty...TMI...roughing the forum reader...five yard penalty...

Oh, perfection!

But Accaragm I'd imagine is as legal as Brandy...pixie and muon though are 'drugs', so bzzt!

I think its basically cool. But I will be very irritated to be shook down during a performance. Generally speaking though, I do not peroform outside the main factional cities. If I'm buffing someone and I get stopped to get checked and the buff has to be started over...well I imagine a lot of gun bunnies would be upset about that too.
