Okay here is the thing. Njessi and I tried out Entertainer while we were there and here is what we discovered.

NOTE: /aliases that allow for flourishes to execute one after the other still work without the queue.

What the queue is: Your right mousebutton executes whatever you have loaded at the time in your queue slot. This is any special ability combat or flourish or startdance or whatever. So you have in your hotbar

1. startdance

2. flourish1

3. flourish2

4. stopdance

Your finger press sequence would be..

1>> rightclick>> 2>> rightclick>> 3>> rightclick >> 4 >> rightclick

It just seems like a lot of manual clicking to perform a dance, 2 flourishes and then stop.

/bandflo on the commandline still works as well as do aliases.

Also, buffing took some time to figure out. You still have to:

1. be dancing

2. the person has to be watching

They don't have to be grouped at least though. You target the person by covering your mouse over the name with the crosshairs, loading the buff into the slot. rightclicking the mouse. selecting which buff from a menu. Then the buff fires off. Of course it also has to meet the criteria of 1 and 2 as well.

Image design was a wee bit buggy while I was there so very hard to test. The avatar in the image design window was prone on the back in a 'just been shot floping death' animation.

... ironicly somewhat appropriate.....

Can those who should be able to respect to master entertainers right away have any option to try these new quests or is it with a re-roll only? Are there any master-only quests to keep the play engaging?

As far as I know at this time class specific quest lines go up to about CL 30. So I don't think there are. And as far as just sacking your current character to a lvl 1 entertainer. I don't think you can. But I have suggested it, personaly. We'll see I guess?

For a change entertainer is not getting shafted the most. Yes its a big mixed template shaft but be glad your alt isn't master rifle, master creature handler. I didn't see one combat profession that sounded remotely fun and entertaining. Then again I don't enjoy twitch based activity. From the description above even dancing is going to be overly tedious, why make me click every single move.

Sounds like I'll be leaving fairly quickly. I know give it a chance, well I did with the CU and I don't like it. I did with the CH changes and I liked them. But when they sell me an expansion based on CH changes KNOWING they are going away 3 weeks later, well thats bait and switch and I'm not anxious to do business with that kind of company.

This is a relief, but will it remain? =o(
