An interessting question that might get the devs actually listening:
Assume someine is a CL 80 now.
He respecs to Master Commando in the NGE, is a CL 80
Then he thinks "Ok I got those 10 respecs, meant to test all professions".
He respecs to Entertainer
He wants to respec back to Commando again after a while
Will he be CL 1 now?

Other version:
Master Dancer/ID/Music/Ent
Decides to try combat and respecs to Officer
Is shocked to be a CL 1
Respecs back
What Entertainer skills will she be?

It's been said that the CL you have when NGE goes live is your "respec" CL and will stay with you regardless of how you respec, or somethign like that. So if you start at 80 and go to 1, you can go back to 80 since you started there.

Well IM on the corbantis test Center tonight, Was thinking i would respect my Master dance Master image to acl 80 jedi to see what jedi would be like on the new CU...WRONG!!! itmade me cl1 jedi. FTW?

THANK YOU FOR POINTING THIS OUT!

This is in DIRECT VIOLATION OF WHAT SOE PROMISED US!!!!!

Have you posted this on the NGE forums as a bug report?

This whole thing is quickly becoming the last straw for me. First, the game goes from a PC game to an X-box game. Which means, they drop a whole lot of complexity and diversity from the game; which kills making your own template. Next, in keeping with SWG tradition they leave the new "entertainer" class with no true game play value. And now they just flat out lie about how the respec will be handled.

I hope SOE actually gets all those 13 years olds they are dumbing the game down to, to play more than 30 days after they get that X-box with SWG for X-mas.

LOL, this is just another way to ensure that non-combat players leave the game. They do not want a full rich environment. They want a shoot'em up game that kiddies can play. Kids will cycle through the game quickly. They will play to be a Jedi. It's too bad no one ever thought of a game geared towards Jedi, they could have even called it Jedi Academy or something along those lines.

Star Wars Galaxies is dead and wasn't even given a decent burial. If you want to continue to pay to play then you had best respec to or grind to CL80 before the NGE hits Live. Then become a Jedi like 90% of the player base.

Welcome to the Next Generation...

Brilliant! LMAO

Does this mean we all become CL1 Entertainers when NGE goes live or will we be CL80 with only CL1 respec options? If this has already been answered, forgive me.

Class 1.

Plus you can only respec as a class 1 to the combat professions.

This does not apply to CL 80 players who can respec to any profession at high level without any penalties.
