Dancing and music doesn't increase the quality of the resources. That indeed would be silly, since resources don't have eyes, or ears.

But what dancing and music does do, apparently, is affect the individual who is using the resources...quite possibly in a better manner than normally.

Nevertheless what these new buffs will do is increase how the resources stats are for a short period of time... if all these buffs did was increase the experimentation and/or assembly of the crafter then you wouldnt see an uproar since most crafters have already caped the assembly and experimentation and woudnt mind the extra help in that.

Our problem is that people can use subquality resources that will get boosted to higher quality and sometimes same quality as our already top qulaity capped resources. Its like saying an AFK dancer can do just the same as an ATK dancer... the person who is at the computer and actually does the job best should get rewarded for it.

Just to point out stuff cos I feel like it... AFK dancers can and _do_ do the same things as an ATK dancer. (and we hatesss them for it, yess we do, precious, we hateses the nassty AFK-ers)

Trying to put our problem in a context that entertainers can understand.

Ummm, many Ents have a crafter prof or alt too. Just because we all look so hawt doens't mean we don't have brains

Mine actually fits into my wallet. I just have to press a button at the side and it folds down really small. That's Bothan miniaturization technology for you, which - like so many things Bothanese - is of course far superior to what the rest of the galaxy can manage

Basically all the old established crafters (and those given existing businesses like zandergeef) dont want to have to do anything different. They don't care about buffs to assembly or experimentation because they already maxxed in that area so they wont have to trouble themselves with a buff.

But since they seem to prefer upgrading their abilities, how about the buff giving extra expermientation points because the person is so inspired. Then those old established crafters still wont have to bother with getting a buff since they are 12 point already but the newer crafters get a REAL benefit that in turn will provide better products to all of us instead of just the few that can afford the top-o-the line prices.

Yup yup! Speaking as one of the oldest crafters on Tempest, I completely agree.

Funny how they want things to be "challenging" yet only on their terms.

Astonishingly enough, I am a Master Dancer, and this is my proper domain.

Star Wars being science fictionset in the distant future, I can easily see CAs, AAs, BE clothing contiaining microencapsulated drugs, nanobots, plug-in cybernetic modules that COULD in fact help a person do various things better.

Actually, Star Wars is not in the distant future. In fact, it's the exact opposite. It takes (or rather took) place "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away." That being said, it is still possible they would exist, as it is another galaxy, and even if it was our galaxy, we could have suffered a galatic Dark Age of sorts, or a catastrophic war that wiped out all but a small bit of life.
