Actually, no, there is NOT a command to cycle thru everything. If you spent as much time ATK as you did AFK you might know something about the game.

however you can make a macro that targets anything that crosses the path of your mouse then add in /say please sit in that chair there to get a buff then end it with /setperf /raspberry livedancer and /macro buffbotwinsagain

trust me, the bots will figure all of this out if they have to. the information is readily available should anyone choose to look for it.

Silly; What I am suggesting is that one entertainer should not be all that is required for prepping a 20 man combat group.

As has been pointed out to us many times by these same combat players our buffs require no resources aside from time. By eliminating th ability of one entertainer to buff 20 people per shot we are increasing the need for players to have the entertainer skills.

That time resource suddenly becomes more valuable.

As to making our buffs on par with doctor buffs... Keep in mind that our buffs are based solely on skill level while a doctor's buffs are based on resource quality, medical skill level and the crafter's experimentation skill. There is a lot more time invested in a doctor's buff than an entertainer's buff. Any change made to the effectiveness of our buffs would have to wait for the EU.

yeah, I get it. What I'm saying is that the need for entertainers is what has caused the buffbot situation and creating a larger need for entertainers is gonna create more unattended players. If we need to have a cost implemented to keep it fair then lets do that. I think the utter worthlessness of the 106 skill points that we invest in dance is probably enough of a cost. Doctors can heal themselves and buff themselves and they can heal in combat.Healing abilitiesare basically the most valuable skills in the game. We invest skill points and can't do JACK for ourselves. In my eyes 106 skill points for no direct benefit to the character is a hell of a cost.

Trust me, the combat goobers are not going to think to themselves "well crap I guess I'll have to drop my leetness to have dance" they're going to go to the store buy an alt and afk skill level it to master buff bot and they'll further resentthe live dancers who have interests in game other than buffing.

On the flip side, I'd love to see mind buffs and healing given completely to doctors. Completely remove the market for buff bots and reclaim the public cantinas for those who actually enjoy socializing. Leave battle fatigue in and drop the ent healing requirement from novice entertainer.

I'm gonna start another quick poll because i'm interested in how many live entertainers would continue to dance without the ability to buff.

I don't think that it is something that is critically broken. I would prefer instead of applying bandaides to everything and using up there time that they could be using to fix something else. There are 2 methods, apply minor fixes periodically, or work on making a lasting one thats better. I think they already learned there lesson as to what the first option causes.

Provided that buffbots do exist in SWG, I don't expect stopping group buffs would increase the demand for entertainers, or even make entertainer buffs rare. If required, the number of bots would just increase to meet demand, and we'd end up with an evern larger percentage of bots and an even more cluttered dance floor. And I think it has already been proven that many people prefer to wait until the bot is ready instead of getting a buff from a live entertainer.

On the other hand, IF there are players present who actually prefer live entertainers, group buffs allow a single ATK master to buff all players simultaneous (in most places) therefore rendering the bot obsolete. Of course with a big IF.

What I want to say is that i) group buffs can work to our advantage, and ii) I fail to see the advantages of removing group buffs without changing anything else.
