Irarely took my master dancer tag off before the advent of the hologrind and the buffbots (and I never did it because I was getting slammed with requests for buffs, either). Why should I change my ways now? I seriously doubt that it will cause significant enough problems for me. There are more than enough Biranmasters and novices online at the same time thatI am to accomodate any forseeable needs.

People dont ask you for buffs because there are buff bots for that. How many hundreds of can you buff me tells can you recieve before you remove your tag and make yourself unsearchable? Youll find out as soon as this patch goes live I guess.

I read the boards daily, and I see the "I can't find an ATK keyboard dancer or musician on Coriella EVER!" about 20 times if not more. And I sit here thinking .. How Hard have you looked for one of us? I have a master dancer and and master musician in Sunset Grove, about 800 north of Coronet. They are there pretty much through out the day, When people come in I greet them I try to talk to them, cause I am ATK. Rarely do I get a tell asking to be buffed. And I dont understand why not, cause Im searchable, maybe the search is not picking me up, I dont know.So again, I ask, when your searching for a master dancer or musician, how hard are you searching? Im not a buff bot by any means, when you enter the cantina and I greet you, those words were freshly typed. I cant even tell you how many times a patron has responded OMG you mean your here?! Yes, Im here. Before I ramble on any more, I'll go. I just had to get this off my chest.

My choice of location is simple, I am where my guild members and friends can find me. Im not surrounded by dozens of afk zombies whos only convo is asking for heals and stuff through macro spam. I chose to have my own cantina and use it to entertain because It was something I thought would be fun and is fun. I didnt take on the dancer/musician profession to compete with any one. I did it cause it is fun and to help my friends who need my service.
My post was in regards to people saying they cant find entertainers , when I know there are more than just me out there that are ATK and ready to talk and buff and what not. The point I was trying to make was there are many ways to find us. Im rambling and not making any since so Im sorry. In short the reason I choose to dance in my cantina is because it is my cantina and its there for a purpose. if I was to go to Cnet to buff , my cantina would be worthless.

Sadly I think coronet is currently a bad place for people to try - When I am ATK there I do find it impossible to spot requests with all the spam. Theed tends to have a higher ATK population in my experience.
Also people don't seem to think to /tell for help for some reason :/.

Even tells can get lost in the spam - can't tell you how many times Roho and I miss each other's tells when we are in Theed. I have a non-spatial tab that I often use when I'm in the city which allows me to see the spatial bubbles on the screen but kulls then out of the interface box so I can keep track of ent chat, group chat, guild chat and tells.

I'd like them to make the search system more intelligent. I had to turn off searchable due to the fact that I'm a Master Tailor and I was getting too many requests when I'd enter a big city. I'd like to be searchable as a dancer, but not as a tailor, but I don't think it supports that.
Anyway, the very best way to find dancers is to make friends with them and add them to your friends list. How do you make friends with a dancer? Actually talk to them, and tip them. Believe me, dancers will remember a good tipper. Then, when you need a buff or healing, run down your friends list (you can use the group field to mark people as dancers or musicians), and send a tell to your favorite entertainers, asking where they are performing that night, or would they mind traveling to where you are for a nice chunk of change on top.
There's also typically a channel you can get on and ask.
There's a man on Bria called Satosk (hopefully I got the name right). He tips well. When he needs a buff and no live entertainers are in his city's cantina, he goes onto the 'ent' channel and asks if anyone will come buff him, always for a rather good sized tip. Entertainers then fall all over themselves to go there and buff him. He will never ever lack for a mind buff again, before or after the changes to the macro system go in.
Instead of choosing to become our enemies, choose to become our friends. We treat our friends very very well.
