Thanks for the idea's, here's one I went with, and an idea that I got from reading the responses that I think looks great with the formal dance.

The base new outfit that goes with every dance but poplock:

Light bustier

Fashionably pleated skirt

Long uniform gloves

Lekku wrap

They're all in yellow which gives a good contrast to my lavender skin. As for the formal dance, I tried a more formal looking outfit, the effect makes it look like I'm doing a classic twi'lek dance routine.

Longsleeve gown

Twi'lek noble's crest

Ryyk blade

While you can used any type of sword, the more curved blade of the Ryyk, give an overall classic feel to the formal dance with its flourishes.

Kandi, you really only HAVE to wear that when you're buffing. When you're just dancing and hanging out, switch to something else! I change outfits eight or nine times in an average evening. People who are in the cantina long term with me are fascinated by it.

/agree All the feedback I've gotten inticates that people love my frequent costume changes. And..well..since I just love clothes, we're both happy!

Now I would have quoted you back Groovymarlin but I am a dancer and not a computer operator and I have no idea how to do that.

I guess I misread the question, I thought it was about "work" clothes. If we are talking go out on the town outfits let's see, I have a cantina, and two houses and no space left in either one owing to all the clothes I have bought over time!

Honestly, I change my dress and look very often. I usually have a basic look for the week that I modify everyday that I play and then change the basic with the start of a week or when I get bored.

So, if the question was for clothes to adventure in try this black boots with blue thin striped pants (red stripe) with a blue top and red jacket and a large red head wrap. That was my look a few weeks ago and it was fun. Right now I have a formal two tone dress (gold and blue) with either a blue or gold top.

I also just love the extended vest with hot pants and boots look. That's fun!

Speak of changing clothes while you dance. I saw a dancer use the smoke bomb effect to cover her changing of clothes and thought it was fantastic. Since I'm now closing in on that effect. Can some post, or point me to how to setup a macro to quickly change clothes under the cover of thesmoke bomb?

Well, what I do (and people are usually impressed it's not a macro).. is I have all my clothing (outfits all grouped together) in hotkeys with a /smokebomb somewhere on the same toolbar. I then just hit the /smokebomb and click-click-click-click to change my outfits.
