The minute a starsider resident runs one.

I don't run them on other servers for a variety of reasons. I do not have the cash to fund new people when they need travel costs. I cannot make clothing, nor can I guarantee a tailor. I do not know the player towns, which ones are factioned, which ones love entertainers. I do not have a home grown reputation on those other servers to encourage locals to attend.

All of these things can easily be supplied by someone who lives on that server and is willing to put in the reasonable amount of effort that planning a crawl takes.

By all means, run one. You can be sure I'll attend unless I've got a conflict.

Hehe, I'd run one if I had the cash. I only started on this server a month ago and right now I'm looking at a bank account of around 3000 credits. Once I'm settled in, I might do it.

Since June 2004, running one of the game's first completely nonviolent characters. Testing the limits of non-combat MMORPG play and trying to have fun into the bargain (although the developers make it difficult).

Combat is no longer compulsory.

Javier: any idea of taking doasa's idea (think it was his) and end the crawl at my nightclub? If it is going to be involved at all, i'm going to hold off on moving it to a new building until after the crawl (unless wolw can move EVERYTHING by then).Got any ideas on the clothing scheme?

Javier, I fully understand that you shouldn't run Cantina Crawls on other servers. I know a few of us on Tempest would love to have one on our home server, and I imagine we'd have plenty of volunteers to help run it. However, I doubt any of us know what to do .
Is there any chance you could make a post explaining what kind of planning and execution is involved with running one of your crawls? I'm sure that approaching the 9th one, you've learned quite a bit about how to make things run smoothly.

I'd be happy to contribute to a "Crawling for Idiots" guide... okay, so maybe a different title. How about "Learing How to Crawl: One Step at a Time..."


Although, I can't claim as much experience as Javier, after yelling at everyone for the last three crawls and participating in several before the video craze... I feel I have some experience in the matter.Javier, if you want to something put together, I'd be happy to contribute my part.

Hmm, it seems that I'll have to shift my regular Saturday plans to Sunday, since so many things tend to happen on this day of the week

I'll definitely make every effort to be there. I was happy that I was able to help out with the last one, so if I can make it I'll let organizers know in case they need help once again.

I've made it to the last three. Can I stretch it to four??

Alas, it looks like I've got a birthday party to attend that day.

Hmm, I might finally make it to one of these then as the time is far more amenable. Have to check diary but be nice to finally attend one of these parties. Love the videos btw

Carpathia, that's the current plan, to end it at your place.

I haven't decided on a color scheme or outfits yet. I'll probably figure that out this weekend.
