Honestly, sometimes I wish we had little acronyms in our sig line that stood for pro-afk, anti-afk, pro-macro, neutral-macro, anti-macro, pro-bard, anti-bard, pro-healer, anti-healer, and so on. Hehe, we sure do have a lot of politicking for a flashy Performance and Social driven class. Sometimes I wish it was easier to just tell who was who with out having to restate the same things over and over again, it just separates us and makes a corr's job harder.

I have done both. How you get the skill makes no difference to how you actually play your character. I have seen people that never left their keyboard do unflourished exotic4 for hours just because all they do is chat and never really entertain and I have seen people that trainined the skill 100% AFK do amazing performances because they had amazingly timed performance macros written that executed flourishes and lights on cue.
