*blush*
I believe in fighting for this more then anything.

This was my first MMORGP game and I was amazed at the dancing and social aspect of it.
I fell in love as soon as I stepped onto the dance floor.

So, they are going to have to ban me from everything before I stop.
I have a nasty habit of not giving up, even if the odds are unbelievable.

What I wouldnt give to have been a part of this performance. It brought tears to my eyes.

I finaly get a closeup in a CC video, doing the bestine boogie (or coliding butt hop) and it turns out to be the one thats set for a media blitz. Hey Ub-ick revenge is yours after all, Hehe.

Although technicaly you cant prove it's me so i can blame Abigale she was wearing the same outfit as me, yeah it was Abigale.

video good, most points good. But i have alot to disagree on as well.

Theres alot of bugs in the games and when i say alot i mean alot, many of these bugs havent been fixed since the launch of the game and still remain. I do agree entertainer needs fixing but if i was to make videos about every broken and unused proffesion, i would send half my life and alot of hard disk space doing it. Yes it gets the point through, but as we all know the devs take little attention to these things. IMO nerfing this and nerfing that never works, all it brings is further whineing when something else doesn't work because of a nerf.

See, I'm looking at this media blitz in a different light. Sure, other professions and other bugs persist, but as dancers, we highlight what we know. We have the perspective to see what is wrong with our professions. By doing a media blitz like this, with the kind of video that Javier made, we're looking to make SOE do something.

In my opinion, they need to change how they handle alot of things. This video will bring to light our problems, but it will also force them to look at EVERYTHING. If that means that they have to create timeframes for everyone and do their best to stick with them, then it's for the good of everyone. I see how the entire community will likely benefit from this, even if the video only showed what was wrong with Dancers, Musicians, and Entertainers.

If we were just leaving this on the SOE forums, sure, then it would likely be ignored. Javier is taking this to outside media sources. If those sources decide to create something out of this, SOE will have to do something. We've tried doing this the quiet, in house way. We've been ignored. Javier used his resources and time to try and create change through other channels. Smugglers, Squad Leaders, Rangers, and all the other professions could stand to greatly profit from what some Dancers put together (because I remember that Esharra and a few others also helped).

Thanks for the comments, but wrong thread to start up a discussion on the video. There's another thread out there for that.

So far, no luck. I'll be sending out more emails today. We have to remember that a lot of these websites, like Stratics, are in SOE's back pocket because they host dev chats and such, and will be unwilling to post what they believe to be "bad PR" on the game. I need to find sites that believe in good objective journalistic practices to submit to.

Not giving up.

Have you thought about sending it to G4-TechTV? They have several shows that you could submit it to.

now thats a good idea. what if perhaps we could get it featured on TV like on the screen savers or X-play. almost the entire population of the world watches TV and if we put something there then SOE would definately have to do something
