Okay.. just went back about 30 pages or so on the boards and found one of my earlier posts as a Correspondant. The first top 5 list I did dated 7-24-03. I wrote that a couple days after I hit master so I guess it only took me about 3 weeks, not 4 from what I can tell, which is about the best you can do ATK. I know one girl hit master about a week before me, think she was all ATK too but all she did those two weeks was dance, eat and sleep. (and probably ate at keyboard, hehe)

pfft, there is nothing wrong with eating at they keyboard, i do it all the time

i honestly don't remember how long it took me... i created Pappi when they allowed 3 chars per acct on TC, and did some afk dancing... the afk dancing wouldn't have mattered much anyway, since i hit the wall of EH xp on TC EH xp is exponentially harder to get, and i was over 500k behind on EH xp when i finished all my dancing boxes =/ i don't remember exactly how long it was, but it was quite a while and i had multiple chars to level.

Gosh, looks like I'm in for a long haul. So 1 week if you do AFK w/ a Combat Medic, and several months if you don't do AFK?

Sounds like the only harder profession at this point is Politician!

I needed about 2 months to master the dancer without any afk and onlyon remote places, where I mostly was the only entertainer.

In all this time I was hunting and exploring too and have done the themeparks.

Started in July and mastered dance in mid October. In between this I also mastered entertainer and musician and took several holidays so wasn't always at my PC. So I think 3 months is pretty typical for at the keyboard entertainers like myself.

Started the day after launch (June 27th, I think?) and mastered it exactly one month later on July 27th. 100% at the keyboard.

That's when healing xp was easy to get. Hehe. I was capped on that long before I ever hit Techniques IV.

Well I'm not done yet; not close either.

However with AFK dancing, I picked up about 275K dancing xp yesterday alone.
Plus Dancing XP is all I'm worried about since healing is WAY ahead.

the healing exp was rough. it took me about a week to go from starting to master droid engineer. it took another 1.5 weeks to master dancer.

this is a 2nd character. i definitely had resources and experience at my disposal to help me master both as quickly as possible.

Quotable: It's pretty freaking underwhelming when the story turns out to be you, alone, in a field, for two weeks, punching toads. | At least SOE lasted a year before they went Turbine on us.

I think it took me about 3 weeks. I started the day after launch, and made my it at least half way through (maybe more) the dancing tree before I learned how to use macros. After that I spent a handful of nights AFK dancing, in additionto my regular play times and made it to master.

Like someone earlier mentioned, it was different then. I started dancing out of Kor Vella and there were always plenty of wounded... especially when the rebel base location became common knowledge. As an entertainer, my healing went far quicker than my dancing. It wasn't until I reached the second box in the dancer tree that my dancing xp starting flowing faster.

Although, I should also mention that I usually only grouped with a handful of KV regulars... and wasn't in a group of more than 10 or so until I had almost mastered dancer. ha! So perhaps it was just that my dancing xp was slow...

3 months but I also worked on medic and carbine exp in that time, and I didn't afk macro my way through. But then until I got close to master I was in no rush, but when I got close I played like all day (14hrs) to get it! LOL And I will never drop it, I worked way to hard to get my title.

It took me four months.

Because of decay limiting the ent heal exp, a bunch of friends bought me the services of a combat medic and we finished off the last heal box. If they hadn't done that (love you guys) I probably wouldn't have mastered for ANOTHER four months. lol

Something really needs to be done about decay affecting the rate of heal exp.
