I’m very rarely a leader of the groups because I feel my ability of not being able to type fast combined with having a relatively slow computer makes me a bad leader.

I don't see how this makes you a bad leader... To me a good entertainer leader has only a few simple things they need to do. Invite new entertainers, kick out LD ones, and possibly enforce any standing cantina rules. As leader I constantly change camera angles, checking the room, looking for LD members of my group and any new entertainers that came in that either I didn't see asking for an invite, or just haven't asked for an invite (some new people don't know to ask, they just go sit in a corner and quitely play or dance). Finally some cantinas have rules, much to the chargin of all those anarchists out there. In Theed Flurry, you don't spam, period, we don't want to listen to it over and over again, and if we have to /addignore you then obviously we don't care about what you have to say, and we don't care about the miniscule xp add you give us, and we don't care if you get your xp, /dismiss'd.

I've had this problem on both Bria and Chilastra in the NPC cantinas. I'm a master dancer in Bria, so its no big deal if I don't get an invite - for me anyway. I just head back toward the bar so that the leveling ents are between me and the patrons and only speak up if someone comes in wanting a buff. In Chilastra, Theed is terrible when it comes to grouping. Seems rather clickish to me. The other evening I tried for 20 minutes to get someone to respond to me - without addressing them personally just to see what would happen. Even the people who were talking in spatial wouldn't give me the time of day. This included asmall, talkativebunch who did not see fit to either acknowledge me or explain if they were a "private" group.

Yup..very cliquish..and it makes me want to scream sometimes..ok..a lot. A little hint Kirah..when you're looking to get in a group in Theed..have Til ask for you.

Thanks, Eshi - I'm not much for name dropping though and I figure if they aren't interested in "me" then it's their loss. I've been known to dance solo andend up having the patrons come inand watch me instead of the grouped ents. The example is from the other night when we ended up in Coronet, btw and one of the ents in what I assume was a private group is someone I am aquainted with - she still didn't acknowledge me.
