Besides Popular2, no other dance looks good on bandflourishes.. Only popular2 has all 8 flourishes different from others, not broken, does not make your character walk around (much)

Erm sorry but that's badly incorrect. Even basic2 looks good in a bandflo'd group as can some of the broken dances if you keep the base dancing to a minimum. One of the most fun is dancing any of the exotics as a couple bandflo'd.

Any exotics has only 3 flourishes, and quite boring..

Still look very good as in a group. Trust me I've been on enough Cantina crawls to know what looks good and bad.

Oh I have to disagree on popular being the only dance that looks good in a band flo. Have you ever seen aproperly timed formal routine? It just looks amazing. I hated dancing basic 2 when I was going up the knowledge tree, get me in a group with band flo's and its the first dance I wanna do. Get a group of dancers and have 3 do basic 2 and 2 more doing popular behind them and you get a great combination in the band flo's. Even exotics are fun in a band flo regardless if there are only 4 flo's......

Roho made the grand effort of leveling up to formal just so we could dance together at our wedding, so I agree it is a wonderful dance to do as a pair.

Anyone who thinks that the Exotics are boring or haven't enough flourishesnever saw Javier and Shianse dance together - awesome. The shame of it is that she's gone now . . . . Another example is a Crawl we did a couple of months ago where the male dancers lined up on the middle of the stage and the female dancers lined the edge of the stage. Then the male dancers did one Exotic while we did another and I popped the band flos. We switched back and forth between E2, 3 and 4 and it looked fantastic (although the /changed would have been much easier if we had a /changetroupedance command!).

Also, although it's been a while since I've used it, when you aregrouped the person doing the bandflos can override their own bandflo and have the rest of the group do, say, flo 3 on Popular2 whilethe leaderdoes flo 7. It is a great visual effect when done properly.

So you telling just 2 flos are enough for a master level dance with rhytm of a dance does not match with flos after flo3? Hell, no.. myself is an oriental origin in RL and really exotics are just looking newbie-wanna-be-orientals.

Don't recall anyone saying only 3 "real flos" for the exotics was enough. Just us "newbie-wanna-be-oriental" partner dancers think it still looks good with those three bandflo'd. Personally, I think it looks quite lovely but I don't get bored with my partner either..../shrug

Ytoavee and his partner also looked good to those watching. I agree several dances look good flo'ed in synch. Exotic 4 with two females is quiet appealing to the males looking on.

Chill! This thread is about syncing with the flos we currently have, not discussing the lack of substance we still have to deal with. Let's not make every single thread on this forum a platform to grumble about what our profession is missing. (Don't get me wrong - I'll join you in one of the more approrpriate threads on that matter! However, there are some good things about dancer and I don't mind touting them!
