That SHOULD leave it out....
I was never able to do more than /dance with the lightsaber out. I forget the exact steps..
To be actually dancing, you'd have to get attacked after you started dancing. You can't initiate it because you can't start attacking while dancing.

Deep in his heart of hearts, my business partner always wanted to be a musician. When the system changed and they could rearrange their skill points, he took his jedi to master musician just so he could play a nalargon for 5 minutes (silly goose forgot to take screenies). He has dropped musician one box at a time as he moved up the jedi tree and needed the skill points but he still proudly wears his novice entertainer title.
During his jedi's short musician career he was playing in Mos Eisley and a fellow was seriously harrassing one of the dancers there. He started talking trash to the harrasser and the guy dueled him. He pulled out his lightsaber and the meany died very quickly. Putting his saber away he said, "I bet he'll think twice before messing with another entertainer". It was priceless.

Awesome post Doug, wish there was more them 5 star option
Until I started to play this game I never knew there were people (devs) who believed Jedi were nothing but mass murderess.
I really see no reason why we can't dance and be of Jedi ranks also. It would be so nice if they gave us an option and lets say a Jedi skills which we could maybe do only in the “open” (so the cantinas wont become an AFK-zombie light-show) like inside a rangers tents and even with a higher cost to stamina or even accumulation wounds while Jedi-Dancing.
Lol … yep I can dream….

very cool indeed. I may need to look into these SW books. I've been a mostly LOTR type fantasy fan and shunned the space world. But this sounds like something I may enjoy.
I would love a jedi lightsaber dance. I'm currently at 10 out of 24 boxes and climbing

As a musician occasionally I get a glitch where my rifle won't leave my hands. I've played all the horns and mando showing as a rifle, to everyone but me. I've even played the nal while constantly holding my rifle. It is frightening to think what it would look like trying to play a light saber

Javy, at the rate things are going, sometimes I doubt the devs have ever watched the movies!

Great post, and I like the idea. Even though I am in the Combat and Crafting arena, I do thinkthose two areas gain more attention than otherunder developed aspectsof the game. (I had a BE who went much unloved that I gave up on.)
It did, however, make me giggle when I thought of the Jedi Image Designer:
"Wielding her light saber with preternatural skill, Barriss focused with all the clarity she could muster. With a hum and a flash too fast for the drooling uBer d00d to follow, the noob Twi'lek's lips went from beginner red to a lovely burnt siena. Shesupressed a grin. Turning to the human male accompanying the young Twi'lek, she brandished the saber near his right ear and said, 'Now, about that haircut that makes you look like Bill Gates.'"

Actually, there's a screenshot going around of a Dev that admits he never watched them.

lmao omg i love it ... both the dancer and the ID stories rocked .... i spend alot of time in the other forums and some times i get burnt out .... sometimes when it gets to be too much i come here and just go through things to see what yallz are up to ... it always gives me a fresh feeling about the state of the game ... the thing that makes a game great or not is the player base ... and nothing gives me more hope for SWG then the Entertainers ... thanks guys
