Thread: I Love Dancing And I make a Great living at it.
I think many customers appreciate both the quicker heals and mind buffs of a more advanced/master dancerAS WELL AS the social interactions of a friendly and social one, and then tip accordingly. That is the reason to advance in skill rather than staying a novice entertainer for an entire career, not to mention the added abilities of an advanced dancer.
As far as a talkative dancer not fitting into the Star Wars mold of role-play, that may be true, and in the strictest sense of the word I may not be role-playing when I dance AND entertain by talking using your (Beery's) definition of role-play. But, my character, Iwen, behaves in accordance with her background perfectly, and in that sense, what I do when I entertain is most definitely role-play.
