For some reason, sometimes you don't get system messages, you just get e-mails. I've had it happen when I'm within spitting distance of the person. I may have to test this further...

All excellent tips here thanks! I've been playing since week 1 and I never about the color coding words thingy. (Lei feels like such a noob sometimes /hides head in shame ) This will definitely help keep track of the massive amount of info flowing by on screen (spatial,groupchat,guildchat,Im's,Ent) Watching all these with a crowded cantina can be a bit overwhelming. I agree too that losing tips isn't as bad as the disrespect I feel that it fosters toward the entertainer. Which reminds me of something else, but thats another thread.

Not a Dancer here, though I am a good one. AFK (holo grinders) get healed (that's their tip). Social Healers, even just a simple /welcome when I walk in the door get at least 1k, Everytime, without exception. I feel bad for those who actually choose this profession with the Holo-Nonsense, and how it really damaged your chosen Profession. As a TK Artist, mind buffing is all I am looking for these days. So if I go into a Cantina (theed typically) and hollar fora Master to buff I always pay well (as much or more than I pay the silly doctor in the courtyard who has people dying for his services). Usually in the Neigborhood of 10-15k per session. I have never seen the "fun" in Exploiting for any reason in any game. I have noticed however that "Bank Tips" do now go into "Escrow" and are delivered as such and most people are too big of a tool to know that it has changed. So "fakes" are now easy to spot.
As a regular user of Entertainer/Musician/Dancer buffs please know there are those people (like myself) who do appreciate your services, and reciprocate in kind.

I had this happen the other day. Didn't even notice the email until the following day, and there were two escrow transfers for tips... one of which was the largest tip I've received in my whole 4 days of dancing [Yes, I'm a total newbie... and proud of it. Every day has new discoveries... 
]. I felt awful for not knowing about it and missing thanking my customers.
I have my chat color coded, thanks to Sultrina's Academy posts (thank you so much for sharing your dance knowledge! Know that there's at least one budding young dancer on Ahazi keeping the faith!), but I wish there was some way to get a notification of escrow transfers so I can properly thank my benefactors.

I have been getting this too... as well as getting stiffed period.. heck yesterday had a idiot on flurry named slingshot tell me that he didn't think we should get paid for buffing since we didn't have to do anything to get the skill. When I told him to find someone else, he told me I was worthless. /ignore slingshot

Ok, I see the problem now... so if they do a real bank tip, instead of just normal tip then getting the message to use bank, there is no system message. That does stink.
