Thread: What new dances would you like to see in game?

I want some Star Wars looking dances. I want exotic, alien, crazy, never seen before dances that take me to a galaxy far far away. Seeing hip hop, country western, rock, ballet or classical dancing doesn't do it for me at all. I want to see dances that break conventional dance rules but still maintain a dance look. Also, I'd really like it more if they linked our dancing to the musician's songs. Time our movements to the beat of the musician made songs.
When I hear SW1 and I see a dancer doing exotic4 for instance it just looks like someone at a dance club that is high on something or a really just a very BAD dancer.

Tango would be SO much fun. I'm thinking of the Tango de Roxanne scene from Moulin Rouge. *drool*
Ooh, can-can could be fun too, ESPECIALLY as a group!

I would have to vote for additional exotic flourishes too. While I think Capoeira is totally fascinating, I'm not sure a game replication could do it justice. And,considering its cultural significance in South America, I'd prefer any emulation of it to be as untainted by (code oriented) artistic license as possible. I Love Tango and other "couples" dances but my understanding is that significant changes to our code would have to be made to support it and would probably involve hard-to-justify dev time.

Cuoples dancing for everyone but dancers can take quests to learn the cooler couples dancing like Cha cha and tango and whatnot.
regulay you know wedding dancing can be done by everyone though

I would love to see some dances usingprops, poles, chairs, canes, etc. But first I would like them to complete the exisiting dances, we would gain so much so easily if they would just complete the exotic dance flourishes.

Hehe well from a guys perspective... yeah i know i am probably going to be branded a perv now 
But i would love to see Oolas' (the twi dancer from jabbas) chain dance from RToJ , it seems a mix of formal/lyrical & Exotic from what i remember.
The missing flos for exotic would really be nice as well, but.. i would also love to see a more male oriented exotic. Not fully sure what could be used. Maybe something like the Maui warrior dance, ya know the bashing the chest, chanting one. Or....../grin
Line dancing! (in a star warsy version ofcourse!)
Something more flashy, yet in the lines of formal. could be a sort of Lancier if any of you know that dance. Although that would most likely be impossible to implement since it would need 4 pairs to dance it hehe. Could maybe do a sort of line dance instead, that would really put bandflos to use. And it would work well with Western song hehe.
Gah... no more coffee for me, i am way to hyper and my poor brain is exploding with dances i would love to see in game hehe

Although I would like to see it too, from a liscence standpoint I don't think it can happen... That dance was created by Femi Taylor, and I'm not sure but I thik it's her property... I think that's why Oola uses exotic 3 in Jabba's palace instead of the 'Oola dance'

And yet they have dance moves from Michael Jackson and other very famous artists in there without an issue. I doubt it's because of any particular ownership of certain moves, it's probably because exotic 3 is what they had to give her.

Maybe. But I don't see any other reason why they wouldn't put it in...
