It started as soon as the new xp type came in and EH went out. I noticed it that very first night on TC. I don't think it's related to that other thing... other than maybe the fact that Dancing and Music Playing XP gain may be referred to with the same chunk of code and there might be many unintended ways that it gets confused.
I think this is just a group XP code boo boo though. I mean, that's my guess.
Ok, I’m not sure I understand it correctly ….. so technically IF a dancer and musician perform together in a group they both get dancing and music exp simultaneously?
I hope I am not understanding it correctly, because it would then mean all those lazy Jedi-wanna-be who AFK FS would be able to get both dance and music caped while they doing whatever it is zombie do while they don’t play….

You can get both at the same time, but the rate at which you get the xp you're not performing for is the rate at which you get inspiration xp, which is way low. (I forget if it changed recently, but at least before it was 10 xp per tick while inspiring).

Anyway, it also works if you are just standing there and Chrys acted like it was a boo boo that night on TC, but if they've decided it's intended while performing it doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.
Why not get a kickback for being in a mixed group? Of course, I also think SWG should have fairies that fly and an off line NPC mode like I just read DnL does, so I may be a little warped, lol.

Don't know why Chrys was so surprised..I had been reporting getting heal xp while grouped but not performing (when someone else in group was giving an inspiration) for a couple of months. Do I think it is important? No..not really. We've all been through enough. Maybe we deserve a little break. And if someone goes dancer and then looks at the skill sheet and thinks.."hmm..I've got a bit of musician xp, think I'll get that slitherhorn out of my bank"..where's the harm? As for the afk fs grinders cheating? Like they're not doing that enough already by being unattended 24/7? If it were a significant amount, I'd probably be more alarmed. Removing it won't deter them. Keeping it helps us a little bit. At this point, I'm more concerned with keeping the devs focused on getting our new inspirations out of the barn..we can tidy up thexp code later.

But we made it through today with our xp code holding steady so I'll get the can of Raid off the shelf and get back to work tomorrow.That's how I had hoped they would do it.

What I think they should do, and what I /bugged and included in a feedback thread I think, is to change the inspiration XP to the general Entertainer XP instead of having it be Music or Dance XP. As it is now, I think the Entertainer XP earn rate is generally slower than the Dance or Music XP earn rate and needs a little boost.
