Unfortunately this intention crumbles when their freakin tight deadlines are reached. As far as I am concerned any small publish should be at least 1 month in testing and the big ones half a year...
I hope they fix this... but ask the creature handlers about the pet bug they reported for a week before the last patch. That bug went to live. All pets were level 1(0) with 10 hitpoints.
They said they had a fix for it, but the fix didn't work that time. If they have a similar fix, I cross my fingers and hope they test the fix to make sure it works before sending the patch to the live servers.
