Thread: Good thing they took out falling

im a mastr dancer as well as a master pikeman and im not talking money here i went to akva min killed her and looted the components myself with some friends i very seriously doubr the master dancer master musicions i see with them did that. cand no it may not be the greatest of weapons although mine is damn nice thnks to the extremly nice vibro units ilooted the excellent weaponsmith that made it but its still our rare epic weapon its not about being the best weapon its about he pride one should have in accomplishing something very hard to do not buying it from loot campers for 10 million credits and why do i seem ore dancers with them because alot of pikeman feel the way i do and would rather try to get the materials the way i did rather than buy one so theycan feel they earned it. dancers go thru more ya right and how many trips did you take to akva firstthing after server reset kill her to loot nothing or credits till the one time you actually get the components.

you may have a problem with that but i happen to take pride in both my professions and i see dancers with no combat and nel as pike dabblers who only get novice pikeman so they can use the uber dots on some looted pikes.

Hotpants, fleshwraps, leotards, the bustiers, formal wear, etc should all come with certifications on the entertainer tree and nobody else should be able to wear them. Let's see how the combat monkeys like that.
What you say? That doesn't make sense that someone shouldn't be able to put on clothing unless they have a certain skill? I agree. Makes about as much sense as telling me I can't wear armor because I'm not a commando. I accept I shouldn't know how to use a big old sword in combat, but heck, I should be able to hold one.

What about the pride I have in saving for months so I could buy one? What of my pride in being able to dance with an exotic weapon? I guess your pride is more important than mine. I didn't make the rules that said anybody could hold or equip any weapon, but I sure busted my butt to earn the money to buy one, and to be the first dancer on my server to have one. And, well lets face it, dancers have nothing else, nothing epic of our own, and it looks quite stunning to dance with, esp with 2 lances and a swap macro, adding the swirl of lightning as an effect. It's good you have pride in your combat profession. I can't say I like your attitude to screw over those of us that worked hard in our own way, and are going to find our 10's of millions of credit investments become unusable.
if you want to use nsel master pikeman how realistic is it from a rp perspective that a dancer withno combat skills has a nsel how on earth would a dancer with no combat fight her way thru dathomir to the ns stronghols down to th e botrtum of the cave and kill akva min and all her protecters. sure you donyt need ant knowledge of weapon use to hold a weapon but if your looking at it that way you do need weapon know;ledge to actually get this weapon

I can't particularly say I like your attitude either, Eaca. You've been nothing but doom and gloom everywhere I look, and quite frankly, that's not really what I want to see. If you really don't like the way things are turning out, then quit. That's your perogative. But some of us are still optimistic about this, and I don't particularly feel like carrying an umbrella to ward off the rain that threatens my parade. We don't know yet that it will be horrible! What they presented to us is like a single page from the rough draft of a novel. It's not the entire picture, and it's not finished yet. So chin up, sweetie, and lets wait to see what happens.
As for screwing over others, I don't think that is Fain's point. We're all dancers here, and we've all worked very hard to get where we are, and we absolutely should be proud of ourselves. Some of us also have other professions that we put forth a lot of effort into as well. For dancer/combat types, like Fain and others, myself included, this is simply another skills to be displayed and enjoyed. So while you obviously seem to be upset about the loss of something valuable to you, she is experiencing joy at the fact that something she worked so hard for is now being made even more special. It's not a matter of who's talents are better, just a matter of perspective.
