Thread: If The Developers don’t know what to do with us…

I disagree with moving all skill points from the profession. I think an additional reduction might be in order like what occurred with ID. This reduction could / should occur either at same time as CU or before CU - with our current issues that are in dev testing. It is nfair of the devs to leave us in game as we currently are without doing that - the sole reason being that the healing tree will become unbearably hard to climb up for new entertainers starting off. For those of us that are Master its no biggie we have our trees filled - I am thinking of anyone that might buy the game off the rack - how they would feel if they spent time in a cantina and the already slow crawl up the healing tree just got say 5x worse than it is now.

A rifleman couldn't care less about his action pool today. Rifles is all about the mind, and I still don't need a buff for heavy combat.

When I'm out on survey with the nice light E11, I don't even need the food & drink or armor. Keep the bursts tight & short, and I'm good to go.

If you believe that's true, then I challenge you to go out hunting with no action buffs.

I've been a rifleman too. And while it's true that the Action pool isn't affected much, all rifles do have an Action point cost associated with using their special manouvers.

Besides, you are getting tangled up inmy syntax and dodging my point. Mind will be used to spend for special attacks as well as Action, and we will be needed to buff those eager little minds.

Ihareo, as one that has seen more covered by the NDA you are assuming too much in what you believe them to be leaving with us. Take the document for what it says. If it doesn't say it then assume it's not there...

ROFL ok, you got me there... I don't need a MIND buff for heavy combat. For light-weights like Famba, I'm fine with all my natural pools & novice medic. If you wanna go after the Acklay or do a bit of Night Sister stalking, I need the Doc buffs to be useful to the group for anything other than pulling a victim from their group, but even for that I run wiout a mind buff.

The point still remains, the releasedcomments make no referance to mind buffs, either confirming or denying them.

If I were to assume that then I would have to assume that there is no game other than a few loosely patched together paragraphs.

Besides, the thing hasn't even gone to alpha testing yet (as far as I know).

I am trying to help avoid a profession wide panic about maybe's and whatif's.
