How much does mind buff do ?

The percentage increase depends on your Mind Enhancement skill. I believe for Novice Dancer, it's 10% (not certain though). I can tell you that Technique IV gives you 75% and Master Dancer gives you 100%.

Even a small increase can be beneficial, but the person you are focusing on may be waiting for a Master Dancer, so ask first.

The command is /setp <name> if you don't know this already.

There is a handy sticky about Mind buffs. There's some great info in there. It's a few pages long as the community tries to help itself out.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.

Just another tip about buffs, always tell your customer to /watch you and to /stopwatch when you tell them to. Sometimes people think that's not necessary because they get a message stating you have "turned your attention on them".

Rather than try to keep up with the clock, I use a macro to tell me that the buff is done. It looks like this:

/pause 600;

/tell Luciee ten minutes have passed;

That way, I get a tell from myself when time's up. I then tell the patron to /stopwatch and happy hunting.

And just a fun note. Hubby is working his way up the BE tree and he's been test driving many other ways to buff his mind when I'm not around to buff him. He reports that my buff lasts a good hour longer than anything else he can find on the market, and since it has no nasty side-effects, he's hooked! Now he's like a rabid junkie looking for a fix *giggles*.
