this is certainly an issue, more so with pilot, as one of my toons wont get a master pilot badge till she does her token respec. however, i dont really wanna use it yet as i have zero reason to respec her.

I was in the same boat for a while. I had respec'd to Master Rifleman. My respec period ended and didn't get the badge. Plus I was able to actually still respec even though it should have expired. I sent a CSR ticket in before the token respec was added and they turned off my "regular" respec and gave me the master badge.

Anyone waiting on a badge from the respec, without using the token, should send a CSR ticket in about it. They should be able to get you the badge.

Cancelled 7/27/05 - I joined to play Star Wars, not Jedi-BH Wars. You've ignored/gutted/abused just about every other profession in the game, while spending most of your time working on Jedi and BH as they related to Jedi. You've basically killed the game for anyone who doesn't want the glowstick. Congratulations.

You know, now that I think about it....

When I mastered Pistoleer, I still had my respec tokey Yes, but I used it shortly thereafter to Respec from MRM/MPistoleer/Dancer 0040 to MPistoleer/MDancer/MArtisan0040 and i can;t recall when I got the badge so IT could have been after I used the Token

If that is the intended behavior then it is partially bugged. I dropped all of CH (for obvious reasons) last week with my alt and picked up all of swordsman. I had never been anywhere near swordsman (master bralwer, that's it, and TKA) before this, and not earned one jot of swordsman experience past the master brawler requirements. So I respecced into all 18 boxes of Swordsman. I got no badge initially but... then I took a shuttle to Coronet to put some stuff on the vendor, and bam! Master Swordsman badge.

So, if they intend to prevent people from getting a badge from respeccing... it's not entirely working.

a good way to test this is to train in a novice box the respec that novice away

example gt novice brawler, repsec so that you no longer have novice brawler
