Major Issues:

1. The ability to AFK all aspects of our mechanics, resulting in the creation of buffbots and the destruction of our gameplay, viablilty, interdependence and only means of economic supportvia our chosen profession
2.Duo-buffing, or buffsgiven simultaneously by a musician and a dancer, is STILL broken
3. The inability of musicians and dancers to self-buff

4. Broken base dancesfor lyrical, formal, theatrical

5. Lack of astheticallypleasing flourishes to complete the exotic dances (although why anyone would everwant todance E1 is beyond me)

Easy Fixes:

1.Clipping of several items of clothing includingthe newitems like theextremely revealing skirt and the lack of decorateditems like the new Ithorian clothing for other species and sexes
2.Iniquity of dancer reward items for all species and sexes and the inability to collect profession specific loot (mind/secondaries buffingenhancement items liketapes [and new items like instruments, costumesaccessories, etc.]) without requiring advanced combat capabilities
3.Ridiculously high experience requirements for the new Quest Rewardswhen no other profession is required to surrender XP
4.Insultingly lowentertainer missionpayouts, boring mission quests, and inability to perform band or troupe missions
5.Lack of group dance commands like /startbanddance, /changebanddance

And the easiest fix of all -

Developer interaction and communication with the three entertainer professions! We are the "social" classes, after all - weneed to talk!

Top Issues:

1) The ability to AFK an elite profession needs to go

2) All dances need 8 *different* flourishes

3) all base dances need to be visible to everyone

4) dancers and musicians need to be able to buff at the same time

5) ability to self buff (I enjoy dancing.. shouldn't that enhance my mind?)

Quick fixes:

1) Change that ugly starter outfit

2) Make the Jaba's Quest mind enhance reward something that can be used by all species and sexes - a necklace perhaps...?

3) scale the mission rewards for entertainers as they are scaled for other professions and groups

4) If dancers have to fall then what's the equivalent "goof" for musicians? If they don't have one then neither should we

5) Make NPC entertainer missions that randomly give mind enhance clothing attachments as a reward - rather than as a combat loot reward

I don't really know what a quick fix is. Sometimes I think it should be easy, but it's not. But, I'll give this a go.

Top Issues:

1. AFK. Truth be told, I don't care that people afk. What I care about is the fact that our entire profession can be afk'ed, from start to finish, including all of our benefits. Make buffing atk only and I'll be satisfied.

2. Let me buff myself.

3. Fix all of the broken base dances.

4. Flesh out the exotics so that they all have 8 unique flourishes.

5. Given entertainers a quest in the FS village.

Quick Fixes:

1. Seems to me, quick fix or not, that the devs should easily be able to fix the human stat situation. That way, the buffbots would at least have to have *some* interaction for accaragm or a rebuff every once in a awhile, or have to stop providing for services for a little time to regen.

2. Again, I don't know if this is a quick fix or not. But, fix the bug that doesn't allow dancers and musicians to buff at the same time.

3. Remove the fall at Master, or make it so that it happens only once out of every 50,000 flourishes.

4. Up the entertainer mission payout, a LOT.

5. Allow dancers the ability to get mind enhancement tapes using their dancing abilities. Or, increase the drop rate. A LOT.

Hmmm let’s see, my main issues would definitely be:

AFK-zombie issue: in my opinion the easiest and least painful way to fix this would be by taking away players option to turn off automatic AFK status and tying /dump in to with AFK pop-up.
So if the system finds someone AFK it would automatically dump all macros.
Ta-Da!!! Problem fixed!

The broken base dances: I think each Dev should make a dancer and as a punishment for not addressing this problem yet they should be forced to watch one another dance Formal/Lyrical/Theatrical for 4 hours each day till they finally fix it.

Missing Flourishes: where are they? And why didn’t we get them yet? I see no logical reason for them to be still MIA.

Self-Buffing: will we really become so incredibly overpowered and uber if we can buff ourselves? Will giving us ability to self-buff break the game and space-time-continuum all together? If not, then why can’t we?
Sorry about the sarcasm but it gets pretty old for me to be the only person in group without a mind buff after I rebuff the group in the middle of nowhere.

Buff application: need to be redesigned completely, atm the margin for error is too great and 9 times out of 10 completely out of our control, yet we are the once who get blamed for any buff failure.

I’m not a programmer so have no clue what is easy and what is not, but other annoying things in need of addressing would be:

Entertainer’s missions: atm they are complete joke and not a good joke at that.

Falling: masters should never fall, maybe once in a blue-moon of a blue-moon but definitely not as often as they do now.

Stacking of Flourishes: please let us stack/queue flourishes so we can easily move from one to the other without being afraid to blink and missing the correct moment to press flourish again.

More group commands: to start dancing, to stop dancing, to change dance, to perform special effect or holo-emote as a group.

Well, that’s all I can think of right now.

Major Issues:

1) AFK playis the biggest issueand most destructive problem for the entertainment professions.

2) Broken base dances and missing flourishes, I consider this one problem.

3) No real feedback when performing buffs, we need something that will tell us if the buff is being applied and what percentage has been applied so far.

4) If doctors can buff themselves why can't we?

5) More content, more places to perform, more ways to participate in quests.

Quick Fixes:

1) Entertainer mission payouts need a boost (huge boost).

2) Falling while dancing needs to decrease as the skill of the dancer increases or be removed completely. My preference would be that it's removed completely, I'm tired of having to hold a weapon so I don't mop the floor with my butt. No, I don't want musicians to suddenly start squeaking at odd times. Star Wars 1 on the Slitherhorn tortures the listening audienceenough.

3) Jabba's Palace throne room needs to allow healing and buffing. When I was doing the quest I had a player ask me to dance for him and I had to explain to him that it wouldn't heal his battle fatigue in that location. I did have a really great moment dancing next to Oola though.

4) The guys need a male version of the exquisite leotard, my vote is for winged hawtpants.

5) Decrease the exp costs for gaining thetheater quest dances/song. So far I've spent 800k on two broken dances and 400k on one song. I believe the reasoning behind the expcost was to give master dancers and musicians a reason to playafter mastering but the cost istoo extreme.

6) Deny service needs to be a useful tool. We need to be able to see who is on our list and they need to be on that list until we choose to remove them. Too many times I've seen griefers wait until after they're healed before they start tormenting the entertainers.

Basically the same things that everyone else is listing.

well.

1. Personally My number one issue is and has been the inability to create our own dances.

Even if they sold the software to let us make our own animations as a mini expansion I'd be SO there!! I play a character that is basically out of a story series I wrote, she is very special to me in every way, and she's a dancer. To be able to aniimate her dances and be able to see them would be worth a $40 expansion kit in a heartbeat...

2.My nextissue is that on several dances the last 3 or 4 flourishes are identical. I don't know about anyone else, but the 4 identical 'Boobie shimmies' in exotic 4 is kinda offensive.

3. We need some dancing props. I know it can be solved by holding a weapon, but what I would really like to see is the ability to make a colored ribbon come out of our hands like the TK artists and Brawlers. Let us choose the color, and that will be a nice quick fix till they can get some art out.

4. We need to get an explination of hoe to use Dancer buffs in the skill list. When I was first able to provide them I had to search and search and search to find out how, and even now new dancers have to ask others how to do it. It's rediculous.

5. I don't like the timer when you stop one dance before you can start another one. I don't understand it and it's a pain in the butt. Not to mention that in the Dancer's audition you have to time it just right between your 'wait time' and your next dance or the timer will make you fail the mission. (maybe it's just me, but if I try to start another dance before the timer is up it adds an extra second to my wait time)

5issues. 3 of which are quick fixes, and one of which can be adressed quickly till it can be adressed fully.

Hmmm major stuff?

AFKtainers (duh)
Broken dance art (falling to flourishes to clipping on some clothes)
No way to get skill tapes from dancing

Minor stuff?

Mission payout doesn't scale to our dance skill or the location distance.
If you dance while holding a musical instrument the /stopband and /startband commands cause you to play music instead of dance. lol!
Dancing on the stage of a player theater doesn't heal. (Also it would be nice if we could place items on the stage )

Actually, you shouldn't have to time it. If you use /changedance <dance name>, then you can switch directly from one dance to another without stopping, no?

I believe the timer was originally added as a stopgap exploit fix - when buffing was first patched in there was a certain exploit that made it possible for people to buff in 30 seconds by stopping and starting repeatedly, so the timer was put in to prevent it.

Major Fixes:

- AFK, obviously!

- Missing flourishes for exotic dances and 'puppet-on-a-string' flourishes in Formal

- Broken base dances for formal, lyrical, theatrical (I have occasionally seen it with Rhythmic 2 also)

- Ability to apply music and dance buffs at the same time

- Fix the player theatres - at the moment they're nothing more than a lot drain as we can't heal or drop anything on the stage...

Quick Fixes:

- Increase entertainer mission payouts

- Make it possible to gain entertainer skill tapes, etc, through entertaining instead of requiring combat

- Give male dancers an equiavalent outfit to the Exquisite Leotard

As I can't edit and I thought of another one...

Quick Fix:

- Add in items apart from skill tapes that give at least fatigue healing bonuses, if not mind enhancement! The large majority of itemsthat entertainers can gain - bio-tissues and Force healing are the examples that immediately spring to mind - give bonuses to wound healing, which is overkill when the bonus caps at +25 anyway. Spread the bonuses out among our healing talents

I'd like to seeMORE MEN DANCING. For that to appen, we need:

1) More masculine looking dances, especially at the top levels. How about break dancing? Now that would look cool!

2) An equivalent of the exotic leotard for men. Males can't wear exotic leotards, so female dancers will always have an advantage over men. So how about something that males can wear that give the same bonses and look good. (Ideas anyone?)

And while on the subject of clothes, why can't men wear women's clothes? Drag shows!!!!!! What beter way to liven up AFK cantinas than to have drag performers. Brings the punters into rl bars, so should work in SWG as well.

It would be nice to see a response to everyone's excellent suggestions now, all of which I agree.

There really should be more male dancers, there are RL girls playing the game too, including me.

As for an item for male dancers to wear, how about a bandolier instead of the leotard?

In fact I wouldn't mind an alternative to the leotard too, it looks tacky.

First of all, with regard to drag shows, I think that would open doors to a large number of harassment complaints and the creation of some very hostile environments. I'm notinstitutionally opposed to the concept, but I'm thinking more about the age- and maturityrange of those playing this game. (Plus, I can only speak for myself, but I really don't want to see a Mon Cal man in a mini-skirt )

In responseto theinitial question.....

Conceptual

I believe Socially Immersive Content is my primary concern at this moment. (My concerns are always subject to change.)

Secondarily, I would like to see a definiteInclusion in the Economic and Trade Systems of SWG.

Mechanical

Incorrectly displayed dances need to be addressed soon. They've been "bugged" for two years now. I don't think I've ever seen another bug last this long with no attention.

Human Secondary Stats need to be balanced with those of the other species.
