And actually, I found that Shianne (novice dancer) had a slightly harder time getting through the performances than Kirah (master dancer). However, Kirah on TC (novice dancer) got so frustrated after a couple dozen attempt to get past performance 2 that she gave up completely - in disqust . . .

I failed the audition last night - the audience said they really wanted to see footloose and flourish 7 and flourish 8 when I gave it to them they were extremely unsatisfied - I tried a whole bunch of other dances - finally got to neutral and of course failed. Gonna try again tonight - this is my 3rd audition the other 2 were a walk in the park.

Failed again (neutral)- this time they liked flourish 7,8 (same as 24 hours ago) Disliked flourish 1. Liked Footloose & rhythmic and disliked Poplock.

My only advice is that your trying to give them TOO much of what lthey like. If they like flourishes 2, 7 and 8. Don't ignore the other ones (unless they tell you they hate those). I would recommend a dancer for about 30-40 seconds or so before changing.
At least thats whay i did when i did all myquests. Did them all in one day and passed.

I finally passed it this morning woot 
addes some effects etc and today they were happy campers - though alot of them complained about resources and a general feeling of grumpiness.
