I actually think we are getting more attention now then in anytime that I can remember. I can only hope it continues.

I think once the grinders have been reduced by the next patch that a truer view of our demographics will also have an effect. Panthu (why do I expect that you read every single post in every thread?), do you know if they have a means of determining in the demographic surveys what percentage of players in a profession are logged in for more hours in a day than a person can stay awake? (ie: Will they be able to tell how many of us there are, as opposed to how many buffbots?)
Even with buffbots included, I think our numbers will be far below what the dev-gods would deem necessary for balance.

Well maybe, but I don't think it would matter for us in this case... it feels like they are ready to just handle the situation. There are a lot of different player types to consider here... hopefully the solution will be one that will improve the game for everyone.

Well, I dunno if the entertainer community really needs anymore. The majority of the entertainers (mainly dancers) are all buff-bots, or AFK-grinders or socialize only with the entertainment group they are part of.
I miss the days where I would enter a Cantina, be greeted (or be greeted back) by an entertainer or two... or 4-5 or everyone. These days, Cantinas are boring. I see buff-bots, I see AFKers, I try to say hello to Dancers, most don't respond back.
And I think I know why! I loaded my Master Dancer, Master Musician I have on another server. It took at least 30 minutes of waiting to get invited to a group since they were all full. You actually have to reserve a spot now to get into a large Entertainer group by email. same way as Doctors reserve buff spots.
Once I was in, it was a community of it's own. They were talking, avoiding everything in the outside world. They were really friendly, and I asked the group about this problem and most of them agreed that people don't treat Entertainers nicely anymore, so they prefered staying within themselves.
SORRY, but that's not your freaking job! Players come to cantinas to get their mind, focus, willpower and bf healed. If you don't even greet those people, then they don't feel welcomed. DUH, that's why they aren't saying hello and treat entertainers badly, because you weren't doing your job in the first place.
Let's face it, first, to all you entertainers, dancers and musicians, do your job well... then maybe you will be worth giving some time to.

Huh? I think maybe you need to spend a little more time Live buffing and starting your own Ent groups. You seem to be a little confused about what you have seen.

This announcement was made in theaftershock of thousands of players wanting to leave, because the Combat Balance was moved after JTL. Lets see how long it takes to make buffbot-ing useless.
